Visited today. Extremely helpful and courteous service at both the consulate office and the Junta Central office. Communication with them is best in-person and second best via email. They are busy so expect calls to go unanswered.
Junta: There was a misunderstanding on some of my documents which was identified after I travelled here, and this will add additional work, time, and money on my end. However, I still appreciate their respectful service and will just work through the challenges.
Consulate: Very good service overall, busy office and the lady helping was very respectful.

Read moreI took off to conduct business at the Embassy of the Dominican Republic two days this week (which was worthwhile). The personnel were personable, transparent, patient, kind, and timely. As an American beginning the marriage visa process for my Dominican fiance and I, I felt very much welcomed and helped. I submitted my documents for translating services on a Friday at 10am and received a call that they were ready for pick-up on the following Monday! I am truly impressed and grateful. I feel more confident that my wedding will be able to transpire within the next two months in Punta Cana! Kudos to Lee-Ann, Carlos, Tamra, and Jeanette. Thank you for your kindness, care, and cooperation. May you all continue...
