Absolutely horrible service! I saw some of the bad reviews on here but figured, it’s just a new set of tires how difficult can it really be? I soon found out the answer to that is very difficult!
To start off, the place is hard to find. There are no signs directing you to where it is, as it’s nowhere near the front entrance. We went in on a Sunday, scheduled an appointment for Thursday and purchased tires since we were told they didn’t have the ones we wanted in stock. We were told it would take 3 days for the tires to be delivered, it’s also what the website says. The mechanic suggested the Thursday appointment.
Come the day of the appointment, the tires hadn’t been delivered. We said that’s fine and we rescheduled for Saturday. They call Saturday, still no tires. The guy on the phone suggested rescheduling again for next week. Unfortunately, since we already took time off for the first appointment date, that wasn’t a possibility. We asked what time the car could be dropped off and picked up, thinking maybe we could drop it off before work and pick it up after work. The mechanic told us the car could only be dropped off between 9am and 3pm. We told him that wouldn’t work. He offered the following Saturday, meaning we would be going on 2 weeks without tires. We rejected that as this was getting ridiculous. The car has a slow leak and is undrivable except for short distances, no way we could wait another week.
They refused to be flexible with us and blamed everything on being short staffed. They then accused us of not being flexible and then offered us tires that were in stock and could be put on today but they would up charge us $150. We of course rejected that! The mechanic then admitted to knowing the tires wouldn’t be in by Thursday, despite suggesting that appointment to begin with. We were outraged. We asked for a refund, they refused to give us a refund over the phone. We have to go in to get it in person, which once again is extremely difficult if you work a full time job.
If you have weeks to spare and a lot of free time on your hands during business hours, by all means, get your tires here. If you’re like 99% of Americans with a full-time job, don’t waste your time. The service is horrible and you can the exact same model of tires anywhere for about the same price. Take your...
Read moreThe service that you will get here is basic. There is only one person in the tire center who changes the tires and answers the phone calls. This also means nobody is checking his work by colleagues.
Four of my tires were done. When I returned to pick them up, I saw that he ruined my chrome around where the lug nuts are screwed. He must have used an improper instrument that scratched the sidings around the lug nuts. I know he did it because I took pre-op HD photos of my 4 wheels before giving it to him to work on.
The staff is blah, just the basics. I also had to torque my own wheels when I got home because he obviously did not.
The wheels were installed messy. There were plenty of white sticky coatings around the wheel that stood out esthetically. He was a messy worker. I also cleaned this mess when I got home.
If it weren't for BJ's warranty, I would not have installed the tires here. Go somewhere else like Costco where the mechanic I heard is happier to do the work.
I am not happy with my ruined chrome because the worker doesn't take pride about his job, his work, his...
Read moreA one man show. From what I can see, there's only 1 person working who picks up the phone calls and works on your car. This explains why the phone rings and rings with no pickup.
I got my tires changed and the work is mediocre. The chrome around the lugnuts were all scraped and scratched. I've changed my wheels myself many times without scratching the chrome. It just shows the mechanic doesn't care about details and ensuring you get your car back in the same condition.
I will go to...
