Extremely dissatisfied and frustrated. I purchased a mattress from Matress depo in Weatherford on 2/24/2023. I came into the store with only two criteria I was looking for for a new mattress. One of the criteria was that it was soft and the other was that it breathes. The salesman confidently pointed me to the queen size golden mattress sapphire 2 euro top. Assuring me with extreme confidence that this was the perfect match for what I was looking for. I trusted The gentleman because I have always heard nothing but good things about the store. I came home and install the bed and my first night I was immediately taken back because I experienced extreme night sweats. Little did I know and under false information, which was provided by the salesman, that the mattress was 70% polyurethane. Which does the OPPOSITE of what I needed it to do. I tried for a week or two to make adjustments to my home temperature to see if it was a problem with me, but no success. I havenāt had a decent night of sleep since I purchased the mattress and the store cannot do anything about it due to the return policy. Which I was also given false information about by the salesman. I am extremely disappointed and unsatisfied with the lies that weāre told to me by a supposed reputable āmom and popā store. I'm not sure if John Barnes qualified for the financing or had a misunderstanding but, I do know that there is not any way I can even think of to "bait and switch" with our financing. We don't make any extra money on financing, its just an amazing tool for our customers to use to get a new bed with little to no money down. I would love to work with Mr. Barnes and work out any misunderstanding. As to Bobby Flores, we are like any other business I can think of when it comes to a return. It is very rare but in most cases it is the customers responsibility to bring it to us or hire us to come get it and we can handle it from there. I'm trying to think of everything from Walmart to buying a car if any business comes to your home and picks up your returns, exchanges, or warranty issues at all or for free. I called the manager and he said he talked to the credit card company and that there would be a hold for 7-10 business days before the funds would be released. 15 days passed and still nothing on my return. I called the manager "colby" back and he said I needed to call the credit card company to get my money back, so I did. I call the credit card company after being on hold for 10 minutes and they tell me the merchant is the only one that can refund the money. I will never purchase anything from there again and strongly advise anyone else to do the same because of the way this company handled...
