First, I have to say that I never trust reviews from people who don't spellcheck, and if you sat in pee, you'd never mistake it for soda.
If you're looking for a chain theater like Regal, with all the bells, whistles, and prices, the Arcadia isn't it.
The Arcadia is, in the best possible way, an old-school theater. The price point is excellent, and we found the theater to be very clean (what theater doesn't have a few popcorn kernels on the floor? I mean, really). The nostalgia of being at a theater owned locally makes the sound coming from the other theaters forgivable and even charming. For what it's worth, my 9 year old loved it.
Finally, the popcorn was the best popcorn I've ever had. And as if that weren't enough, the kid at the counter filled my popcorn container halfway, pumped on the (real) butter, then filled up the remainder of the container with popcorn and buttered it again. I couldn't put it down.

Read moreI had a wonderful time at this theater, I went and saw Megan 2.0 and I was in a much smaller viewing area but it was beautiful nonetheless. The staff here was very friendly and helped me figure out where to park. In case you are curious the hotel next door owns the movie theater also so you can actually park in the hotel parking lot I confirm this with a manager at the penn well's hotel.
