The staff here was very friendly. Immediately greeted us as we came in and made the visit very pleasant. The store has a massive selection of Magic cards, comics, board games, playing cards, puzzles, books, and collectibles. They have a room where it's "no cell phone zone" where you can try out some games, which was awesome to see. The worker who was there overheard another customer talking to his friend about one of the games and immediately came out from behind the counter to chat with them about it. The (table top) gaming community have always been super fun and friendly, but the couple who runs Pop’s Culture is miles ahead of everyone. They have a demo room where you can test out different games (no charge). They were extremely helpful in pointing out some recommendations. We picked up Guillotine (which was already on our shopping list), along with “Jeju Island”, which the staff had encouraged us to demo. After 2 plays, we were hooked. I took my 2 year old grandson to look for a new toy yesterday... While he was entertained for awhile with the toys available in the store on the provided table.. When he started exploring the wrapped toys... the hag shop keeper made such a fuss about the "wrapper" being ripped... mind you he dropped the heavily wrapped wooden blocks, which probably was what drew her attention but there was absolutely nothing wrong with the packaging... heaven forbid any future children visit that place... went across the road to the nice book store around the corner and spent the money i might have in this place... way to go people chasing...
