Firehouse Pet Shop — Attraction in Wenatchee

We have seriously been touched by this local business. Allen his wife and staff loved on our family when we brought our dear 14 yr old lab Morgan in for for his last bath and family outing before we said good bye to him. They were so incredibly kind and they went above and beyond during this emotional time. Even when the tears came they gave words of love and reassurance. They made sure he had treats and they made sure pictures of our family were taken. They helped us pick out special treats and a book to help our kids understand losing their friend and that heaven awaits with happiness and beauty. We (my dog and I) love it here! Every staff member I’ve met is beyond helpful and friendly—you can’t NOT feel welcome when you walk in. They have a great selection of toys, food, treats, etc. for both dogs and cats. The staff helped me find a food that works well for our German shepherd who was allergic to the other foods we had tried. The icing on the cake is that it’s a local business, which I’m always happy to support!

I will add, after seeing a negative review over their mask policies, that I’m grateful to Firehouse Pet Shop for providing a safe place to shop for our pets during this time by following state guidelines. Absolutely the Greatest spot to bring in your pet. The atmosphere of the employees and others people's pets are amazing. I completely fell in love with this place & my dog felt like it too. We Adopted our pet at humane society in Wenatchee and was given free coupons to visit Firehouse pet shop and boy o boy they met my standards compared to any other place I've been too. I highly appreciate the customer service very helpful and they even have a self wash dog wash downstairs. This place is unique in a way from all other petshops I've been too. My dog left happy and with a bag of treats & food. I would do my business here in the future. I highly recommend anyone who has dogs or cats to give this place a shot. I promise you won't regret it.
