Had dinner there tonight for my birthday and really enjoyed it. The menu is extensive, it's practically a novel. It would take a long time to try everything, but I'm willing to give it a go. Ambiance was nice, acoustics were good (it does not an elegant dinner make when you can't hear your dinner partner), music wasn't too loud or obnoxious (my absolute pet peeve; I also hate having a TV running when I'm having dinner with someone. I don't want to pay money to go out and watch my husband watch TV. not a classy dinner.). All the food was good: the egg rolls were good/plentiful/not expensive, the main course was good, the lemon drop was very good. Prices are not exorbitant. The service was very good: polite, personable, attentive but not too attentive, acknowledged us when we walked in. The bowls holding the main course look kind of small, but we both had left-overs. No complaints at all. OK, the booth benches are kind of far from the table, a little awkward. That's all! So I'll sit at a table next time though I do prefer a booth. Hope to go back soon and check out the lunch buffet. I give it 4.5 stars. I rarely give 5 stars, reserved for out of this world spectacular, e.g., that underwater restaurant in the Maldives where you can see the sharks and dolphins swimming by. But this restaurant hit a lot of the marks for me: good service, exotic cuisine, full bar, able to have a conversation,...

Honestly, food is TO DIE FOR and we will continue to come here for it, but the “bar” is like a bad dive bar.. They don’t really know how to make any cocktails besides the strange creations on their menu on the table, and when I asked for a martini, and asked what kind of vodka they had, they replied with “vodka”.. I asked again, and they said, whatever is on the menu… They also didn’t know how to make a martini or cared to even try. Not a huge deal, but when you’re going out for a nice meal and cocktails, I feel like they could greatly improve their sales and amount of people that came to visit, with a complete bar makeover and an actual bartender that knows what they’re doing. Second to last thing, they have THE LOUDEST and most obnoxious door bell that goes off every time the door is opened or someone is standing near the sensor…. So it feels like you’re in a 711 gas station and someone is coming in and out every two seconds.. Lastly, they play really awesome Indian music, but the commercials that play in between each song just really get annoying with the doorbell.. The place is super cozy and well decorated, but those things really truly kill the atmosphere completely. Coming from someone who has been in the service industry for 13 years, and has managed restaurants in the past, hope Management truly takes these things into consideration the restaurant would really flourish with fixing...

This restaurant is a joke..they claim authentic Indian cusine..They can fool the local people, but advertising Indian. Food is horrible, not using any quality ingredients..Customer service sucks, when we entered the restaurant at noon time, the place was dark and young Indian man was sitting as if ,we thought another customer, he did initial eye contact then kept on playing with his phone..We spend at least 5 min before asking this man if the restaurant is open..then he responded casually by saying take a seat..Then again we had to ask him if there any one to serve us?.. For that he took his BOTTOM off of the chair with great difficulty and brought to us the menu..then water..no smile..no friendly ways..On top of this rude and uncultured behaviour the Food Sucks big time. I ordered fish vindaloo, it came as a plate of potatoes cubes dredged in red COLORED gravy..enough stain your finger tips..and no fish to be found in it..My family 4 of us ordered different items all horrible. being an Indian and travelled world wide a lot..I can attest that this is a FAKE Indian restaurant just to fool Wenatchee locals..I was reading all reviews by Other Indians, all have the same opinion..They are not selling quality food..period. Finally when we're having food, the server was talking to someone over the phone , very loud in Indian language malayalam..Very Very poorly...

Location: It’s easily accessible and in the middle of the Wenatchee downtown. It’s close to other businesses and is a great place to get lunch or dinner. Parking: Easy to find parking as there are lots spaces in and around Food: Great selection of food and it’s ready in minutes. The Garlic Naan and the Butter Naan was especially great. Our kids also loved the Paneer butter masala which was the right spice level as requested with lots of paneer (cottage cheese) in it. They also have a decent selection of drinks. Service: Fantastic. They were very attentive and were keen to serve us. Overall: This establishment is not only prepares some of the best Indian food but they are authentic too and the service is great which makes it an excellent stop for a quick lunch or a sumptuous dinner.

These guys are smart! They're taking advantage of the fact that they're the only Indian restaurant in town, and making a killing selling mediocre food, and ripping people off on portions. You know those little Costco sample cups? They sell their lemon mango pickle in that size container, fill it up about halfway, and charge you $4 for it (they used to be more generous). Taste of India, I've had once in California at a rest stop/gas hub of all places, and they were *very* generous with their portions. I don't know what the people at India House are thinking... The images in my review aren't from either of the places, but demonstrate the difference we're talking. These guys are ripping people off 😂

Ordered takeout online. The checkout and ordering process was easy and they take Apple Pay. My food was ready upon arrival. Parking is on the Main Street downtown. Well lit. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and welcoming. I'd like to sit down next time I'm in town. I ordered the Dawat Chicken and Garlic Naan. The curry was excellent. The blend of spices was perfect and I enjoyed the consistency. The naan was good, but a little soggy. It's hard to get good take home naan. Overall, it was a good meal, with a good portion size. I'll be eating here again.
