My fiance and I came here yesterday. We were looking for seafood. They had this board up of their frozen seafood products. We went and asked the helper how many seascallops you get in a lb and he told us. We said we would like a lb and then he said he's not sure if they have any. He came back and said their all out. We said ok. We would like the Mahi Mahi or the halibut. He then told us that they didn't have anything on the board except from the salmon; that they sold out of everything, to make room for Christmas. My question is why have the board up if you're not selling anything on the board or at least put on it out of stock. So we then asked him the pulldate on the oysters and "they were pulled the day before thanksgiving, which was 6 days days ago." It wasnt 6 days ago, it was 11. Thank goodness we passed on...
Read moreI bought a rabbit just before Thanksgiving paid around $20 for it. My husband asked me to get one more so last week I ordered. I went to pick it up yesterday and waited about 30 minutes while two different guys went to look for it and several employees walked around and barely said a word to me. This one was $51 which surprised me but was told it was bigger. That was why but it's true. First one was 2 1/2 pounds and I paid 7.99 a pounds. Second, is 3 pounds and I paid $16.99 a pound. I called and was told that the first one was sold to me at the wrong price. Whoever sold it to me, was wrong. It was the same person. Not once did the guy say he was sorry or anything. He just justified how the pay $15 so they were barely making anything on it. I could return if i wanted...

This wasn't the fault of our friend, but the butcher she uses. Having never needed butcher paper for anything before, I had no idea where to get it, so I called Mikes Meat at Pybus market to ask where I could purchase some. The guy I spoke with told me to drop by before they closed; they'd be happy to sell me some. When I arrived, I spoke with a nice gal who told me a couple places I should be able to find some, but then chose to give me a roll of their own that was mostly used up.
