Iâve been going to Wentzville since the 90s used to be able to set up at 6 AM and it was over where is about 1230 now you canât set up until 630 and you canât sell til seven and itâs over by 11 oâclock and if they catch you, they will run you off used to get 15,000 people and six hours come bye now weâre lucky I have three or 4000 people show up the vendors it used to be full. Iâve been offered $100 for my spot on several occasions never took it five years ago or so now thereâs no bingo food they wonât let you sell food but they canât get any volunteers because they were stealing more then they turned in now they have cameras, the police go around the collect the rent. With the volunteer, thatâs why nothings open up and no one will volunteer because they cannot steal they donât realize or donât care, but they need the vendors more than we need them no vendors no customers Iâll give it maybe two or three years and Wentzville flea market will be a thing of the past and thatâs a shame because itâs been going on since the 70s and the help are very disrespectful. Wonât help you talk bad to ya they have a little authority which I donât believe theyâve...
Read moreSunday at the flea market is my favorite day of the week. there is such a variety of things to shop for. It's different each week, and most vendors are friendly and flexible. The 2nd parking lot is kept closed everyday except Sunday with big concrete boulders that have to be moved with a forklift and the worker that moves them is very impatient and has a horrible attitude. This week while he was unblocking the entrance he screamed at me while using profanity. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I understand I made a mistake and apologized for it but that is not the way you talk to customers who are spending their money at your venue over a simple misunderstanding. Very...
Read moreDrove in from Maryland heights, arrived at 12:15 to 5 sad tables in a huge parking lot. One of the vendors said they actually close at noon on Sundays but the people at the community center wonât change the 2 pm closing time on Google. I spoke to someone who works there and she was less than helpful, and seemed irritated that I dare expect correct operating hours online. âSometimes we close at 1, sometimes itâs 2 đ¤ˇââď¸.â
I guess they donât care much for people trying to come visit from out of town. I feel sorry for the vendors, they all seemed to be annoyed with the management, and a couple of them mentioned how the online hours being incorrect loses them customers because people come after...
