Okay so I have been going to this school for a bit and have gathered pros and cons. Pros: Very welcoming atmosphere All the staff members and teachers seem like they genuinely want to help you, and they are so polite. I didn’t have a utensil the other day and the front desk gave me one, which Im so thankful for. Very diverse I see all types of people here, honestly I expected more elderly even for the afternoon classes. It seems like there is a lot of youth here, I have seen people that are from high school and taking college courses. Everyone here I would say is young, I’m not sure about the Newark campus because never been. There are so many different types of people, but it’s like a suburban area so it’s not as diverse as somewhere like Montclair, but more diverse than I expected definitely. Easy to make friends In here I feel like everybody has their own group or people, it’s hard not to fit in, or make friends here even if you’re shy! At the end of the day, there will always be people that won’t like you, however I would say that most people here are pretty polite and educated. It’s not the type of place that you would see fights or anything like that. I think it had to do with the fact that you’re paying to go here, but never witnessed or seen anybody even raising their voice at anyone else. The building’s design, and wide variety of study places This place definitely has a beautiful design, it’s like glass on the outside which gives it this modernistic look, as of the inside, the classrooms kind of all look the same, but it has windows in every room. From what I heard, Newark campus barely has windows so that’s a plus! There are so many places to study, like the cafe, learning space, or in the lounge. You can even study in empty classrooms if you like! Cons: No utensils in the cafe I was quite surprised to see that there are zero utensils in the cafe, which I didn’t expect. I believe at some point they did but they removed it for I don’t know what reason. And no napkins either. Kind of wish they did have this stuff, because sometimes I forget to bring my own, yet thankfully the front desk has utensils, so not so bad.
Overall this school is good for a decent education, I personally wouldn’t go here for two years or four years, but I notice lots of people transfer to universities and use this school just to get the basic requirements and get used to college life. Just remember to register for your classes early cause people will take the good seats if you...
