I general I like this market, obviously parking is atrocious but that's the city for you. I did watch one vendor yell at a female vendor for not having weights on their tent, and the vendor next to her had to intervene and say that he was embarrassing himself and should call the owner to complain and not yell at the girl making 10 bucks an hour. Read moreI went to get some end-of season gold rush variety apples from North Star Orchards but was pleasantly surprised that there were a really several other apple orchards represented as as other local farms (goat cheese sellers had a nice selection!). Prices weren't bad. A few of the vendors (not those mentioned) did appear to prefer cash, so it'd be best to take some along, especially if you decide to purchase in small quantities.
