Salvage One was the most fabulous venue for our July 2024 wedding! When we toured this space, we immediately fell in love with the vintage eclectic vibe and loved that the downstairs, courtyard and upstairs were all included with the rental, plus that the inventory in the store would make up our dinner table and chairs. The giant wooden elephants flanking the ceremony space also made for a unique and memorable touch! The architectural features and beautiful furniture in this space meant we really didn't need much decor or florals to enhance the space which helped us save a lot. The upstairs dance floor had plenty of space to dance the night away (plus a disco ball) and two great stage options; the smaller of which we used for our DJ and the larger one for speeches and cake cutting. The indoor and outdoor spaces are truly versatile and really offer something for any couple. Colleen and her staff were so fantastic (and fun!) to work with throughout the whole planning process and were great at answering all of our nitty gritty questions. They were familiar with all of our vendors and all worked so great together which made for a smooth and stress-free wedding! All of our guests complimented us endlessly on how beautiful and cool the venue was and how well it fit mine and my husband's personalities. We absolutely loved our wedding at Salvage One and hope we can be guests at an event there sometime soon so we can relieve our magical day!

Read moreI booked my wedding at this establishment almost a year ago. We were given a piece of paper with a long list of approved caterers we could pick from on that paper was the approved caterer and their starting prices. After looking at the list and seeing a handful of options that fell into our budget and discussing budget with the women who gave us the tour we were told having our wedding there would be no problem at all. Boyyyyy was that a big ole lie! My event coordinator reached out to all the vendors and was not given one single quote that was accurate and not by a little I’m talking a tonnnn of money. For example one caterer was priced at 80 a head and gave us an actual quote of 180 a head I don’t know about you but that’s just crazy. Unfortunately these people are unwilling to refund our deposit 3500 dollars roughly, again allot of money to us we are just regular people trying to have a nice day nothing crazy. After much consideration and many tears we have canceled the day fortunately we are having the wedding at a new venue that is honest and lovely to work with. Salvage one has accused us of being bully’s for trying our best to get our money back and we have been more than nice. If you are considering having your wedding here please beware that the approved catering list is not accurate and do your homework first because they will not meet you head on with honestly...
Read moreAttended a wedding here and do not recommend. Cons: We were the last table served. My vegetarian meal of mushroom ravioli was cold. My spouse and another guest at the table had cornish hen, which were "hot" but raw (ie: there was BLOOD throughout half of it). Unfortunately, my spouse ate it anyway and had diarrhea all the next day. It was about 20 degrees outside and nearly freezing inside Salvage One too. After huddling together for warmth on pews for the ceremony downstairs, guests had to wait around for about 30 minutes to go upstairs for the reception. The upstairs was EVEN COLDER! One gentleman had on a dress shirt and tie, long sleeve sweater, and his winter scarf wrapped around his shoulders. Ladies were less discreet and donned their winter coats. After dinner, I wandered over to the thermostat (about 10 feet from our table), it read 66 degrees and the temperature setting was on 55 degrees!! Insane! Additionally, there is only street parking which is hard to come by. Finally, there was no clear signage or illuminated entrance for the front door and we walked into an office business by mistake. Pros: The staff member at the main desk was helpful and the salads were tasty. I would NOT recommend having your event here and if you do, dress really warm...
