The Hive On Hubbard — Local services in West Chicago Township

We had the exact wedding we hoped for at the Hive, the space was a perfect size for 150 people and the staff were incredible with helping us set up all the details not only in advance but also the day of. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready but also for a kids room with babysitters so that parents could enjoy partying with us, the rooftop was amazing for photos and drone footage, the wrap around windows and skylight made it feel like we were getting the best views of the city as well as the changing sky/ surrounded by treetops, and everything was super clean and orderly. They let you bring your own food and alcohol and order whatever furniture you want from Tablescapes Next door. The space is perfect for a peaceful feeling as well as a party vibe. We had the first look on the roof (my husband changed before with his best men and the dads in a west loop apartment that we rented by the hour on Peerspace). Street parking for guests in the area is easy and they have a parking lot with 6 spots for vendors. Everyone seemed really comfortable and happy during our wedding- day photos and night photos were all great. We chose to have our wedding at The Hive back in 2019, and finally got to celebrate in May 2022 - and I could not be happier.

Throughout our TWO reschedules because of COVID and my many questions, Bethany was so wonderful to work with. We were so thankful that she made it possible for us to do what was best for us and our guests. Even outside of rescheduling, we felt really supported and comforted throughout the whole process.

The space itself was STUNNING - and the photos we've seen so far from friends and family are gorgeous with the light coming in during the day and the nighttime skyline in the evening. There was plenty of room for our 160 guests and dance floor and buffet-style dinner, and there was great flow throughout the evening. We loved going to the roof as a couple for some photos at sunset and having a moment to ourselves with the view.

The flexibility to choose our own vendors was critical to create an event that fit our budget and highlighted the aspects most important to us - we could not have had as much "bang for our buck" with any other venue.

The perfect place for a wedding in a middle of a pandemic! My step daughter got married at the Hive a few weeks ago and the wedding was AWESOME! At first, It was discouraging because we couldn't invite all the guest that we wanted but it was the most beautiful day ever!!! Betthany and Josh offered us options so that all our guest will be able to see my daughter and her husband get married. It was perfect.
