I love Target! This place would be a one stop shop for me and I would spend so much money there, except for one thing: aside from stuff that's been in the news about Whole Foods lately, never in my life have I ever been to a store that's so poorly stocked!!! Doesn't matter which Target in the country you go to, they're all the same- their stocking and inventory system is seriously flawed. I can't tell you how disappointing it is coming here with a list, and then seeing empty shelves where this item that you planned a trip around buying, isn't there (and would have been there at any other store). It sucks, but for this reason, I try to shop here as little as possible. Another annoying thing is the reserved parking for low emissions vehicles. If you're going to mark spots with these signs and not even enforce them (oh trust me, they're filled with almost exclusively large, gas guzzling vehicles), then why bother even marking spots for them. Very frustrating! Lastly, if you're not used to city life, this location might be a little uncomfortable for you. It's in a really nice neighborhood, but directly west of this Target is one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the country, and this Target is the local Target for people from that neighborhood, too. It doesn't bother me, and isn't as bad as some of my other local stores (not too many people being loud and disturbing), but it's its own way of life on the West Side, if you're not used to that.

I placed an online order and picked it up through the drive-up service at Target. The girl who brought out my order was incredibly nice, friendly, and polite I genuinely enjoyed chatting with her for a moment. However, when I got home and opened the bag, I was extremely disappointed to find that the bananas I ordered were completely rotten black and mushy. Honestly, they were disgusting and went straight to the trash. It’s really upsetting that someone selected produce in that condition. I expect better quality control. Please make sure your team is properly trained to choose fresh products, especially with groceries. Also, remove any visibly rotten food from the floor or storage areas. This experience left a bad impression, even though the customer service at pickup was great.

This Target is usually my favorite. Went inside looking for a new skin care routine this morning and was harassed by security that kept following me. I even tried asking one of the employee ( it was Hispanic older woman) to help me get to the barcode to scan an item on my target app, she was acting very confused like she didn’t know what I was talking about wouldn’t even try to help me. I felt very uncomfortable this morning shame on you guys. Thanks to the (black employee ) that helped me at the register. I should’ve just left but I didn’t feel like going to another place. I got these products can’t wait to see if it works.

I will never again in my entire important life step another foot in this target! On Saturday 8/26/17 I took my 3 children to Skinner park for a little fun and decided to top off our pleasant afternoon with slushies from target.(My favorite place to shop, by the way) what a HUGE mistake! I walked up to the food register where the very unhappy cashier took her time arranging breadstick boxes without greeting me, then finally slowly walked over to me and simply said "yes".... I smiled like always and stated that I would like 4 medium slushies please. I paid for my FOUR slushies. She stacked 3 cups and walked away and came back with the fourth, and then also gave me my 4 lids to the cups. Everything was fine. My 3 kids and I started to fill our cups. Then my 8yr old son dropped his cup on the floor. I picked it up, walked to the couter and told a different (nicer) cashier that my son dropped his cup so can we please have another. She gave me the clean cup and I threw away the dirty one. As we were leaving, the first mean cashier shouted across the way with a line full of people, "ma'am, come here please" I thought maybe I left my keys or wallet so I walked back up to the register and this crazy chick says very loudly in front of at least 10 ppl, "You didn't pay for that cup, you stole that slushie" omg I was shocked and mortified and soooooooo embarrassed!!! At first I didn't yell, I said "Yes I did! I ordered 4 slushies, and that is what I have" then she dismissed me as if I was a liar and said "ok, you can go " I said, yea I know I can because I paid for my items... As I turned my back and started walking away, I heard her say to her coworker, "she didn't pay for all those slushies" so I turned around and yes, yes I did go off!!! I was appalled!!! Never in my life have I ever been accused of thievery!!!! Everyone in the line was looking. Then the manager walked up and asked what the problem is and she did nothing just told me it's ok I'm free to go and I left but it has been 2 days now and I still just cannot believe that! I'm still so angry and I should not have left until I was given an apology. I hate that place I will never go...
