The West Loop 569 Dog Friendly Area — Attraction in West Chicago Township

Nice dog park with mostly friendly people. There are some regulars that visit that are very friendly. There are also some heated arguments that happen here (I've witnessed a few first hand) between visitors over reprimanding other people's dogs or are overly protective of their dogs when playing. I've also witnessed numerous shouting/cursing matches between visitors over petty things. This place is very clean, lovely, and big! Right in a lovely neighborhood and by a big park with lots of space and is also dog friendly but a little more calm when the dogs need a break. Everyone was nice and respectful, and there was parking available around! There are trees over the benches. The weather was lovely, so in the evening, there was lots of shade where the benches were, so that seemed well thought out. Our favorite dog park!! If you are driving, always plenty of parking. Plenty of space for dogs to run plenty of space for people to spread out!! Definitely room to take down your mask and enjoy the fresh air with your pups. Shades areas for hot times and splash pools for dogs to cool off in. Handful of misc toys/balls around.
