Cortez Park — Attraction in West Covina

Love this place, come here constantly. It's clean and well taken care of. If you come early you see maintenance running around keeping everything in check. I love to bring my dog and he'll sit there and watch the squirrels all day. They've got a playground for kids, baseball field, and football field. They've got the fire department on the corner and a community center. They've got tons of places to have picnics and perfect areas for parties. Just be aware squirrels are everywhere and aren't shy from what I've seen. Also if you're here late enough just be weary. There's when wildlife like skunks and possums start to come out. This park was very clean and orderly. However it seemed like there was a man that was potentially living in the men's bathroom stall and it smelled like he may have been using drugs in there. I think in order to give this place a higher star they should send someone by to make sure that no one is living in there. It was weird when I was using the restroom because at the urinal I noticed out of the corner of my eye that whoever was in the only stall was opening the door and looking out. And then when I turned around they closed the stall real quick. It was a bit uncomfortable and I would say that with all the cleanup crew I noticed taking care of the park someone should have taken notice of this. maybe they do take note I'm not sure I don't live in the area, but it was a strange experience to...

This park is nice, clean and quiet. There is a baseball field here and the senior center up in the hills with nice grass. I want to make sure that the restrooms here in the park are clean because under the restroom roofs in the park there are paper wasps building nests and it can be a hazard for visitors in the park next to the baseball field. I really like to visit the inside of the senior center where the elderly people are once in a while. I realized that now at the playground area here, there are more homeless people near the restroom here now away from the senior center.
