I really don't like writing bad reviews. I try to give places the benefit of the doubt but my experience here was so disappointing. My family and I came here with my sister in law who is visiting from out of town for Mother's day. Even though I live close to this place, I hadn't had the chance to try it so my son thought it may be nice to go there for Mother's day. Their online menu looked pretty big and pretty good so we were very excited to try it and hopefully make it our local go-to breakfast/brunch spot. The decor is really cute on the inside, very inviting and very colorful. The music was a bit too loud so you have to kinda speak with higher volume so people can hear you. We sat down and were given the menu which the waitress mentioned that it was a set menu for Mother's Day. We took a look at the set menu which includes one appetizer platter for the table, an entreé for each person and dessert platter for the table, for $35 per person. There were very few entreé options and every single one had some kind of meat in it, not one vegetarian option, not even one. the waitress mentioned that we can get avocado toast and we all ordered that and we asked to have eggs on top of the toast as well. One plate of avocado toast arrived and 2 plates of eggs. We sat for 20 minutes and nothing else came. We asked one of the waiters if we can get our food and that the eggs that were meant to go on top of the toast are now cold. He did take the eggs and tell us that he would bring out our food soon. We waited and still nothing. We called for our waitress and explained to her our frustration. With attitude, she put the blame on us, saying that since we ordered off the set menu, they had to get the supplies for avocado toast. I don't understand this part because other dishes had avocado and toast so what supplies did they have to get? She was rude, we were all uncomfortable and frustrated at this point. So we decided to leave. As we're leaving, the owner comes out with the avocado toast plates (with no eggs, just a piece of toast and avocado). I have to say, the owner was very very nice and applogetic and told us that he could package our food for us if we still wanted to leave. At this point, people were staring at us and we were very uncomfortable. The owner ended up packaging everything for us and we went home. I was hoping to have a positive experience and enjoy a new place that had potential. I am really surprised that a breakfast place put together a menu that does not have one vegetarian option. I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1 star because of the decor and one of the waiters who took away the cold eggs and the owner...

So I walk in as a party of 1. The place is busy but plenty of open tables. The hostess who I think is the owner (older Hispanic lady) greets me. I tell her just one and she immediately points to a table outside. The weather has been raining on and off although the sun was out when I arrived. I did not want to chance it. So I asked if there was an indoor seat. She said I'm sorry thats all we have available at the moment. I replied thats OK I don't mind the wait. So she asks for my name and says it will be about 40 minutes. She says it in a tone that I could only assume was to deter me from sitting inside and to sit outside. She then shows me her list. 2 parties ahead of me. A party of 2 and a party of 15. So I say that's completely fine I'll wait. So she takes my number down and Info. After about 5 minutes she has the waiter come outside and direct me to a table inside. Her (hostess) demeanor seems rushed. I just ignore it and sit down. My waiter was friendly and on point with his suggestions. They bring out my food QUICK. I'm starting to notice the hostess keeps looking over at my table. She talks to the waiter. And he comes over to check on me. I've probably been seated all of 15 minutes. They hurry other guests in my area to pay as if they wanted them to leave. Come to find out they did want them to leave. She was trying to make room for the big party. I get it but don't hurry someone else's experience to fill your seats. As they got the tables ready for this party she kept looking in my direction. Finally she comes over and asks if I would move over to a different table. So I agree. They seat the party but still do not have all of the space needed. So now she's asks if she could move my table over. I was not even 1/2 way done with my meal as she hands me the receipt. As if saying hurry up! The experience I thought i was going to have was completely rushed. No apologies. Not that I was looking for a discount but would have been nice to offer for the inconvenience. They chose to seat me when I clearly stated I'd wait the 40 mins. I finally just asked for a box to go so I could get out of their way. Which they were completely happy with.
The food was good. No complaints just wish I would have been able to enjoy it. My waiter was polite and professional! He was outstanding. The hostess...
Read moreWhen you first get to the restaurant the parking is awful. It’s in a shopping center so it’s always going to have a lot of people. Make sure to account for having to find a parking. As you check in, the place is so cute. The decor is beautiful and very chic. We had a reservation but they will only sit you when your entire party has arrived. Once we were seated we had water with fresh fruit and cute glasses. We immediately asked for mimosas and were told they do not have a liquor license and will not have it til the end of April. I said when I made the reservation online it doesn’t say you don’t have mimosas. He (the owner) said yes, there is a sign posted on yelp. I said No, there is NO sign posted, no verbiage any where and if you go to help right now, they actually advertise their mimosas. FALSE ADVERTISING! they didn’t post anything because they knew some people wouldn’t go. AGAIN ITS FALSE ADVERTISING!
We get our food and it was good but it was not hot. Our food was less than room temperature. The portions were decent and the presentation was good. The service was not that great. The staff needs to communicate better with one another to serve the customer better. We had to ask for everything we needed twice!
Then as they clear our table the waiter comes by and asks if we need anything else and we say no, and he has the nerve to say “thank you for coming we have other reservations coming in thank you for understanding”. We were only there for 1 hour and 20 minutes and he was already telling us we had to go. Not to mention, I got up to check and there were 2 couples waiting to be seated. We were at a table for 6 people. Definitely didn’t expect that type of treatment and I don’t appreciate the lying. They should post that THEY DO NOT HAVE A LIQUOR LICENSE YET. It isn’t always the main reason for us to go places but we were celebrating birthdays and that was what we were expecting. Not sure we’ll be going back. I’ve posted pictures of the website to prove there is nothing posted informing the customer that THEY DO NOT HAVE A LIQUOR...
