The Brightest Spot in a Difficult Visit Thank You, Isiah, Tyler, and Frank I want to take a moment to recognize three truly outstanding employees at Universal Studios Hollywood: Isiah, Tyler, and Frank from the Raptor Encounter. While much of our visit to the park was stressful, frustrating, and filled with disappointment especially as a parent of a special needs child these three individuals gave us the only moment of real joy and connection during our entire trip. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and patient with my son, who had already been through so much overstimulation and emotional ups and downs in the park. Their interaction with him wasn’t rushed or forced it was genuine, respectful, and full of heart. For a child who was struggling, their warmth made him light up in a way I hadn’t seen all day. It didn’t fix everything that had gone wrong but it meant everything to us in that moment. Their compassion was the highlight of our visit and the only part of our day that felt truly magical. Universal Studios is lucky to have them. I hope their kindness is recognized, because it made a lasting impact on a child who needed it more than they probably knew. Thank you, Isiah, Tyler, and Frank you were the heart of our trip. Also a huge shot out to Shannon who was Blue’s handler for making this moment special. — A grateful special needs mom

I thought this was going to be a silly show for kids, but boy was I mistaken! My friends and I had a blast watching from the sidelines, which can still get you very close to Blue. She came right up to me at one point. Yet again, the attention to detail with her movements, eyes, sound, everything was unbelievably realistic, we were impressed beyond words! I’m so glad we managed to catch a showing, it was a huge crowd pleaser, it’s funny, yet could be slightly frightening/unsettling for little ones, but it’s fantastic, don’t miss out!

It's a clever attraction tucked away in a corner by Jurassic World. It's location isn't great and makes it easy to overlook. The one on one interaction between guests and the raptor is fun for a moment, but the attraction's quality is dictated by the staff member which can make or break it. When compared to the Megatron photo opportunity just a short walk away, this spot just isn't a must see.

This is a very cool interaction with a raptor from Jurassic World. You line up to the left of the encounter area and the keepers direct you where to stand and how to act so as not to upset the raptor. There are several different raptors with their own personalities. The raptor does a great job, very authentic. If you are there when the raptor goes on or off exhibit you will get to see the raptor walking. When I've been there the line hasn't been too long. Great photo opportunity. Located to the left of...
