West Jordan Western Stampede — Attraction in West Jordan

We REALLY wanted to like it but it was just a disappointment. except for the girls who took our tickets, all the workers who we asked a question, (such as where is section B or where is the restroom) seemed annoyed or bothered. Not to mention there were only 6 port o potties for the entire stadium, we couldn't get through the line before intermission was over; the limited food trucks/stands were overwhelmed and lines were so long it was ridiculous. Once in your seats, it was crowded and it was hard to see and forget about it if you needed to get out. The rodeo itself was okay from what we could really see or enjoy because we were packed in like sardines. The best part was the mutton bustin and the Bulls. Fireworks would have been great but they kept the lights on during the entire show to the stadium, so that sucked. Will not be back, days of 47 will continue to be our rodeo of choice. Don't...

I really enjoyed the heats. The drivers hit hard and it was very entertaining. However, I thought it took a long time in between the heats to clear it out and get ready for the next heat. Plus I DO NOT think that they should allow seat chairs! It's already tight enough and when people are using them, they stick over the benches into the row behind them, which leaves no room for other people. The Western stampede never disappoints! Great family tradition to go on the 4th of July. The only thing is the parking and getting out of the parking lot. The West jordan area really needs to figure out a better way to exit people more quickly. Until this is done, I would just plan on going to the bathroom before you go to your car and a good 45 minutes to exit the parking lot or plan on parking in the neighborhoods off-site and walking to the venue.
