IKON Roofing — Local services in American Fork

This company just did the house next door to mine. The crew had tarps laid on the ground throwing their tear off trash onto the ground instead of into the dumpster 6ft way. The problem with that was that all of this trash, nails, shingles, debris was on our property and spilling into our driveway. The blatant disrespect for our property was unreal. Two days later they showed back up to finish the roof and they blew debris all over our vehicles and our downspout to our gutter is now all dented up from their crew throwing shingles and debris down onto our property. We just had our gutters replaced about a month ago and I will be sending your company the bill to get it fixed.

Their crew was spray painting vents on the roof with runs all throughout. Very half assed and unprofessional.

My first experience with this company was when a man showed up asking to check my roof for damages and help me make a claim. The entire encounter was very unprofessional and He then showed up at my house unvited multiple times, i have him looking into my dumpster in my driveway on my security camera unwarranted. My entire experience with this company is horrible and I am so glad I did not agree to let them do my roof. We just had our roof done and our roofers weren't spilling nails into our neighbors driveway. Our roofers didn't step foot on our neighbors property or trash or damage anything of theirs. To reply to your comment saying the high winds blew the debris onto our vehicles and not your crew. You are wrong. We were only home for an hour when your crew took their leaf blower and blew off the roof. Blowing it all over our vehicles. We were outside, went inside for a few mins, came back out to leave again for dinner and our vehicles were a mess. There was no way the wind blew that much debris onto our vehicles. I can't say enough nice things about IKON Roofing, and especially their co-owner Connor. I've had 10 salespeople come by my home trying to get me a new roof. All failed. Connor himself (on a training exercise) came to my door, and like the others I told him he could take a look. When he came down, he was certain he'd get it approved by the insurance agency. And even though they pushed back, Connor provided more and more evidence, and the insurance ultimately agreed !!

When the day of install arrived, they got the entire job done in a single day (my home is 3850 ft2), even with a few hiccups thrown in just to make it fun.

The crew was pleasant to work with. And while I'm obviously not a roofing expert, I went up to take a close look, and the final result seems to be of very high quality. My gutters even got cleaned out, and I noticed several quality additions that weren't there previously! Nice job, IKON!!

And to cap things off, Connor had told me that his crew would do a good job cleaning up. But WOW ...it's spotless!! I even checked super close. But bottom-line, they use a large magnet to find all those pesky nails that might otherwise end up in your tires, and there's not a single screw or nail, or even just random trash, to be found.

This is a top-notch outfit! Skip all the others, and wait for IKON to come to your door ...you won't...

I have thought about having our roof done for a while as it is over 25 years old. We had some wind damage and needed repairs. The house was built in 1997. Ikon Roofing was one of three companies that came. I chose IKON because some neighbors had recommended them. Also, we have solar panels that had to be removed and replaced and Ikon worked with R and R Solar for the removal and replacing of the panels which simplified the process. Ikon also worked directly with the insurance company after I filed my claim and coordinated with the adjuster. It was a pleasure to work with Ikon Roofing and R and R Solar for a job well done. R and R Solar came and removed the solar panels the day before Ikon replaced the roof. The roof was completed in less than a day including the cleanup and removal of all debris. The crew was efficient and did a great job. R and R Solar then came and replaced all the solar panels. They had measured the location of each panel and replaced them based on the measurements and reconnected them to the batteries.
