Venus Nail — Attraction in West Palm Beach

I went there about 2 years ago to get my nails done with my sister because I was going to a dance and she was treating me.I use to be a really bad nail biter and when I went to get my nails done the women who was doing them rolled her eyes and sighs because of how short my nails were.I had gotten my nails and toes done and my toenails were fine she was a little rough but not so much that I couldn’t handle it when we went over to do my nails we sat down and she got her tools out and everything was normal (I was getting nex gen)she started pushing my cuticles back mind you they were not that bad I had 2 or 3 days before that pushed them back myself, but no she continued.She ended up making me bleed on 5 of my ten fingers,she then put a liquid on my nails that burned so bad because she mad me bleed and she could see that I was in pain but said nothing.I could tell that the women that was doing my sisters nails and the lady doing my nails were talking about me in another language because she kept looking and me laughing and looking at my nails.I took the pain and just continued on,my nails looked fine they weren’t bad but they weren’t good.Now the main reason I gave this a one star is because the following day I noticed a weird bumb on one of the fingers that the lady had made me bleed.The bumb started to get bigger and bother me more and more, I finally told my mom and she took me to the doctor.My doctor looked at it and tested it and I had an infection in my finger do to dirt getting into the cut from getting my nails done.It ended being that the women doing my nails did not clean her tools and when she cut me the dirt from her tool got into the cut giving me and infection.Me,my Dad,and my sister returned to the store the day after we found out I had infection to get a refund.We wall up to the man and say that I got and infection and that all we wanted was a refund,he replied with a no my dad then said that it was their fault for not cleaning their tools and that we should get a full refund but they again replied with a no we kept pushing for a refund and then the main asked to see my hand insinuating that we were lying and just trying to get the money back.We sat there for an hour till the maneger came and still they said no so we left without our money and me still having an infection in my finger.Today I’m ok I took antibiotics to get ride of the infection(I had the infection in two fingers).I just wanted to write a review so that this would happen to no one else.Take you money to somewhere where you won’t get an infection and people have a better...

Do not get your nails done here! For starters, The young technician who did my pedicure was sick had no mask constantly wiping her nose with her arm, first red flag only had on gloves! Tools came out of a drawer which I’m unsure of sanitation should have been second red flag for me! she scrubbed the side of my feet where skin is which she shouldn’t even be. Scrubbed to the white meat literally! While working on it she was extremely rough and i felt like she was burning/scratching the hell out of me. I thought oh well it just a scratch it’ll be ok. She knew she made a mistake of some kind and it wasn’t visible to me yet, because she looked at another worker next to me as they were speaking Spanish and lightly giggled but switched to doing something else. I got done i paid for the pedicure walked to my car. Instantly my feet felt sore. I took a look at it and i literally see white meat where she scrubbed my skin off. I went back in and showed the manager and worker, she admitted to fault and tried to put something on the wound for me, i refused, she claimed i have sensitive skin and it can sometimes happen. I never had that happen btw. The manger or owner whatever, didn’t want to give me a refund but wanted to continue to take pictures of my foot. It took me five times to beg for my money back due to negligence. Now next day my big toe is sore and swollen due to excessive picking at cuticle around nail. The tech name begins with a “ Y “ maybe Yasmine, or something like that I’m not too sure. I was so upset and in pain i forgot to write it down. If this gets infected of any kind i will come back and give an update Do Not recommend...

I wouldn't go back....I went yesterday when it was raining out so there were only 2-3 customers in the store max at any given time. The staff were noisy and unprofessional, acting like kids- which made for a less than relaxing visit. The lady who did my nails (I got French gel) was very rough with my hands. She spoke almost no English so there were a few communication issues. I felt little cuts on my thumbs from the trimming but waved it off. The "massage" was not a massage. As I was leaving I was rolling my jeans back down and both my thumbs started bleeding. I walked back and showed her and she sat me down, poured some disinfectant on them (which didn't feel good) and then sent me on my way. I'm angry with myself for paying for this service. My nails ended up looking fine, but as a college student I don't have the opportunity to do this kind of thing often. You couldn't pay me to go back...
