Chicago's Top Spots for Kids: Revisiting a Hidden Gem Park

So I thought this was a really nice park to walk around with my dog. But to it’s not, see the sign below, notice how it doesn’t say you can’t be stationary with your dog. I was sitting by the fountain with my dog who is on a leash with a harness. When two elderly people in a golf cart drove up to me my sister and husband and told us we had to leave because we could not be sitting down with our dogs. So your telling me parks are just meant for walking your dogs but not sitting? Then why have benches. Well thems, the rules according to these two employees. Save your self a bad day at a park and go somewhere else.

Lots of fun! I was surprised there was an entrance fee, i just happened upon this park once when I got lost visiting my dad. Anyways made our way back there this week to check out the splash pad. It was a lot of fun, the park was really fun as well and that area was free, but go to a park with a spash pad and see if your kids dont NEED TO GET IN THERE! lol We had a blast and will probably go back, there are tons of free spashpads around though so it likely wont become a regular spot for us.

Ty Warner Park is a beautiful outdoor space located in Westmont, Illinois. As someone who has visited the park on several occasions, I have always found it to be a great place to enjoy nature and outdoor activities.

One of the things I appreciate most about Ty Warner Park is its natural beauty. The park is situated on the banks of Salt Creek, and features a variety of trees, flowers, and wildlife. Additionally, it offers a variety of walking trails and picnic areas, making it a great place to spend a day with family or friends.

Another positive aspect of Ty Warner Park is its wide range of amenities. The park features several sports fields, including a baseball diamond, soccer field, and basketball court. Additionally, it offers a playground, fishing pond, and dog park, making it easy to find something for everyone in your group.

In terms of facilities, I have always found the park to be well-maintained and clean. The restrooms are well-stocked and the picnic areas are regularly cleaned and maintained. Additionally, the park offers ample parking and is easily accessible from nearby highways.

One potential downside of Ty Warner Park is that it can be crowded at times, particularly on weekends and holidays. However, this is a common issue with many popular parks, and is not unique to Ty Warner Park.

Overall, I would highly recommend Ty Warner Park to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor space with a wide range of amenities. With its natural beauty, variety of activities, and well-maintained facilities, it's a great choice for a day out with...

TY WARNER Park of Westmont, IL. is a fun community park for families with lots of amenities. I recently enjoyed my grandsons little league game here. The dugout, bleacher area & field was very well maintained. There is a great fireworks display in July & also honoring veterans. I was told they also have a wonderful swimming park for all. The grounds were beautiful in the park & bathrooms tidy nearby the ball field. There is a bronze monument dedicated to the developer (Beanie Babies) set off the walkway within a beautiful landscape…Great for photo opportunities :-) I found the TY WARNER Park an asset to the Westmont community & a great place to visit with...
