DoughDaddys in Westmont. 12 inch thin crust pepperoni and jalapeno pizza(candied jalapenos). This was tavern style crust that was extra thin and perfect crunch on the ends. The middles did get a little overwhelmed by the content but we will ignore that cause this was a masterpiece. Slightly greasy from pepperoni content. Pepperonis, on top and charred to perfection! Cheese, again.....charred on the ends which made some carmelization on the cheese and ends of the thin crust that would make burt Katz come back from the dead to try! Sauce was tasty and just enough put on the pizza. Seasonings on top to put it over the top. The candied jalapenos gave it a sweet and spicy contrast that you'll be dreaming about until the next visit here. If you don't like salty pizzas then this is not for you. If you do enjoy places like Vito and Nick's then this is right up your alley. I have to say and honestly will say that after trying over 750 pizza places in the area I've never had more flavor on a pizza ever! A long time friend of mine John J Jackson told me I had to get out here asap to try this one cause it was one of the best pizzas he ever had and he was dead on with that statement. Even though I made the duda50 already.. this would be in the top 10 for sure and would be ahead of places like Kim's uncle pizza and zazzos that are nearby. So, for those of you that are looking to try Kim's uncle and don't want to wait. I suggest you hit doughdaddys before he gets slammed as well cause this is top notch stuff right here. Speaking with the owner while waiting on this masterpiece to finish...I found out that it's basically a 2 man operation. Him and his father. It's a hole in the wall in a strip mall in Westmont. They just opened like 3 months ago. And typically with no hype machine like a Kim's uncle has..I get the idea that business is tough. I did mention all the competition around him like zazzos, dans,Kim's uncle, papa's, pizza Italiano and others and said you're competing in a pizza heaven. His response was that he hasn't tried any of those places. He just eats his pizza lol. Anyway, Take to go and plenty of parking. This is a can't miss spot. Highly recommended and definetely top 10 for...

FAMILY OWNED | HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Nestled in the heart of [location], this charming family-owned pizza joint is a true gem. Operated by a dynamic duo—father and son—their commitment to crafting pizzas the old-school way is both nostalgic and impressive. During a delightful conversation with the owners, they shared insights into their traditional pizza-making techniques, immediately setting the tone for a unique dining experience.

One of the standout features of this pizzeria is their dedication to customer preferences. When I requested a well-done pizza, the son assured me, "We make well-done pizzas."

What sets this pizza place apart is their homemade pizza sauce. The rich, flavorful sauce is a testament to the attention and care put into every aspect of their culinary creations. It's clear that they take pride in using quality ingredients, and the house-made sauce undoubtedly elevates the overall pizza experience.

Opting for the vegetarian pizza, I was treated to a culinary delight. The taste was nothing short of amazing, with each bite bursting with freshness and a medley of well-balanced flavors. The crust, cooked to perfection, struck an ideal balance between crispy and chewy. The generous toppings of vibrant vegetables showcased the restaurant's commitment to providing a wholesome and satisfying meal for all preferences.

Our experience was enhanced not only by the delectable pizza but also by the warm and welcoming. The cozy setting exuded a sense of familiarity, making it an ideal spot for a family outing or a casual meal with friends. The personal touch extended to the service, with the father and son duo ensuring that each guest felt valued and appreciated.

In conclusion, this family-owned pizza place exceeded expectations on all fronts. From the warm hospitality to the meticulously crafted pizzas, every aspect of the dining experience left a lasting impression. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone in search of a genuine, high-quality pizza experience. Our enjoyment was evident, and we're already looking forward to returning when we find ourselves in the area again. Five stars are truly well-deserved for this hidden...

Soooooo....I want to give more than 5 stars if I absolutely can. Boys and girls.... probably one of the best pizza EVER. Even though it is only a small carry out storefront but the owners were soooo nice and friendly. You can tell it's a father & son owned restaurant so more reason to support local business.

Let's talk about the area. We arrived at 5pm and they made the pizza right away so we had a good 30 mins to kill. We really should move to Westmont since I basically know every one in that strip mall and now one more. So we walked around while we waited for our pizza so we visit Katy's dumplings which we go all the time, Sushi Nova which is our sushi spot, Sweet General does my birthday cakes so we picked up 2 mango cake and the new Hunan Supermarket owner Julia is now a friend so we stopped by and say hello so now one more reason for me to go for Dough Daddys!

This pizza....holy moly was phenomenal! Usually it takes me about 30 mins to get home and it was still crispy. Was it cold? A little but it was still flavorful and absolutely delicious. But the star.... Was the brussel sprouts!!!!! Who would have thought to put honey and gochujang over fried brussel sprouts would be this amazing? And top it off with crunchy almonds? How do you know this would be so amazing together? I think I found my new favorite pizza place. Pizza for the boys and brussel sprouts and a bowl of white rice for me!!!! Love love love thisssssss...
