Michigan Park — Attraction in Whittier

I am blessed with the beautiful opportunity every other weekend to spend time with my two wonderful children. I always choose local spots in Whittier just because of how amazing the parks are in the city. We chose Penn Park this weekend it was remarkable. Large park. Parking lot gets full on weekends. There is workout equipment. Two playgrounds for both little kids and bigger kids. There are picnic tables and bbq pits. It gets packed with parties in thr warm months. Large open space. There's also a baseball diamond. Lots of shady areas from the large trees. The bathrooms are ok, sometimes don't have toilet paper.
