I've been coming here a few years now, and it is all for the ramen. Being of Hispanic upbringing, I absolutely love chile and spice. Wherever I go to ramen establishments they always have a spicy miso flavor, but the punch is always so lackluster that it makes me second guess my order; even though I will order the spicy miso every time praying for some heat. This is the only ramen restaurant, that i have found so far, that actually is spicy. Their spicy miso ramen comes in three levels, and if you want spice, get the x3. The only problem is the inconsistency in the actual bowls I have gotten. Sometimes the pork in it, being so small, has been a sliver of what it once dreamed to be; it's very being dissolving in the soup for its expectations in life were only met with regret. On more than one occasion, I have received a hard-boiled egg instead of a soft boiled; sometimes I have even been given half of an egg. As if the purchase of my ramen is accompanied by a ticket that compels me to span the cosmos in search for my half eggs counterpart. I usually order takeout from here, and it is disappointing because upon arrival home, I have even been given the wrong spice level; being the very reason for my return. The ramen is great, and the flavors are good, but the customer service and attention to detail is where the ratings drop. I have called this place over and over, at one point for almost an hour, and they never pick up the phone. Being busy can only be an excuse every now and then, but when it becomes ones motto, their stars implode, and so will the business. The ramen, whenever everything is done correctly, deserves 5 stars, but the inconsistencies and customer service problem tank the cake.

We finally tried out this close to home Restaurant. There were plenty of restaurants in this small strip mall on Laurel street which also conveniently next to Whittier Shopping Mall. From the outside look in, don't let this simple restaurant fool you, it looked normal like other restaurants in the area, but when inside this restaurant looked much cleaner, better and welcoming. Well organized and looked simple but beautiful. We ordered the Spicy Tuna bowl and Spicy Miso Ramen. They were very delicious and tasted good. The broth and spiciness came together to bring up the enjoyment of Ramen. Tuna bowl was also very good with sweet ginger and avocados. We have really enjoyed it and especially the vibes were excellent. Services were fast, friendly and highly professional. The server was very helpful and courteous with one on one service. Will be back for sure to this place and don't forget to try out their excellent ice creams.

I'm still trying to process the tonkotsu-sized disappointment that was my visit to YOSHIHARO ramen. As we walked in, I was excited to warm my belly and soul. But, things quickly took a turn for the worse. They were out of all drinks except Diet Coke - yes, you read that right, no soda, no lemonade, just Diet Coke. We had to ask for those basics, which arrived a whopping 15 minutes later. I mean, l've seen snails move faster. But, we're patient folks, so we waited... and waited... and waited some more. Our appetizers arrived before our drinks, which should've been a red flag. And then, the pièce de résistance: they forgot my girlfriend's ramen order! So, we waited another 15 minutes for that to arrive. By then, my ramen had cooled down to a sad, lukewarm mess. The taste? Unimpressive.

I usually order out from here and the ramen is sometimes good to mediocre. I thought that maybe enjoying a sit down dinner would make the ramen taste better but I was so wrong. The service was so bad that I'm never spending my money here again. To start off the broth was way too spicy and peppery without any of the umami flavor. The noodles didn't have much flavor and under cooked. As far as the service goes the waitresses didn't bother to be attentive at all. They visited my table to get my order, drop off food and pick up the check. Out of those times we had to flag them down every time to get their attention . Our appetizer dishes remained on our table the whole meal and we never got asked if we wanted more drinks and this includes beers which we wanted more of. Also, the waitress was rude when it came time to pay the bill. I understand if the restaurant is busy you need to be in a rush but we made sure to arrive 2 hours before dinner rush and they only had 3 other tables to wait on. Had they given us better service we would had spent more money and left with a...

Horrible experience. Go elsewhere!! We went on a nice rainy day hoping to enjoy a bowl of ramen and boy was I wrong. To start off, they had no drinks available. appArently they ran out of all sodas/lemonades and only had Diet Coke as an option, mind you it was 430pm so no where near to closing. The Diet Cokes were given to us in cans, we had to ask for cups with ice and straws. The service was soo slow and we’re pretty patient people. We got our cups maybe 15 minutes after asking, we actually got our appetizers before our cups. We should’ve left at that point but thought maybe the service would get better, it didn’t! They forgot my husbands ramen order so we had to wait another 15 minutes for it to come out. By then, my ramen was lukewarm and really didn’t taste all that well.

Overall, bad service and food was not great. Definitely will never come back here again.

I never take the time to write reviews but this place was trash and staff didn’t...
