I actually really enjoyed this arcade. The selection of games, the venue, and the drink I had were great. However, I did not have a great experience with the staff or the policies. I was not informed at the time of purchasing tokens that they were non-refundable. The man running the machines announced that they were closing. I have no issue with that. I understand people want to go home. However, he shut off the power to the games in the middle of our match that we had paid for. I don't see any reason why we couldn't have finished the few minutes remaining. I simply planned on receiving an exchange for the tokens we had remaining. He informed me that they do not do exchanges. That would've been nice to know at the time of purchase. Essentially we paid for tokens and received no service or warning. I had a really great experience other than this interaction. However, I feel like I was strong armed into returning due to no exchanges. What do you do if you're from out of town? Unfortunately, I don't believe I will be returning with my remaining tokens. Edit: I wanted to add to my review as the owner has responded. Firstly, the employee did not "stop by". He yelled over everyone how much time was remaining. First, 15 minutes, 10, and then 5. I know it was not 16 minutes after because he literally gave a countdown to close. Once the store closed on the dot, our game was shut off in the middle of the round. He literally shut off the power to the games. Additionally, I don't particularly hate the tokens but people should be informed ahead of time that they are non-refundable if they're going to be used. Especially if people are going to shut off their games right at close. I'm not sure if the night they received the cameras was incorrect, the time was miscalibrated, if they have mistaken me for someone else, or if they are simply lying but what the owner is posting is not true. If it is in fact true, I would encourage them to send me the footage (with time stamps) or post it and tag me. You'll be able to see my Google visit history posted with this review. The owner seems to have a habit of arguing with reviewers, being disrespectful, and potentially being untruthful. This business is a lovely place. However, I personally will not patronize places where the owner feels so comfortable disrespecting their source of revenue. Everyone else can make their own decisions.

Extremely disappointed. We have been regular customers at the Arcade since it opened on Mead Street. Many times we have enjoyed the fun of the games but now that there is bar inside, even if you already paid earlier in the day, you can not return after 9 with your kids. We still had our wristbands. Because we went to dinner and came back we were asked to leave when we returned. We were told because we were not physically in the building at 9 we couldn't come back in because it is the weekend. At first we waved as we came in to the door man because he recognizes us, we are here so often, but he said we couldn't come in after 9. I told him we were already here and showed him our bands. He approved us to come in but after having begun a game the manager lady came and told us to leave. It makes no sense that if we had not left that we could have stayed yet because we did leave we couldn't come back like we have on many occasions. I would Love to give a glowing report on The Arcade but this incident soured me. While I am happy the business is going well I think they ruined the original atmosphere by adding the Bar. Don't advertise you can play open to close if that really isn't the case.

Update and rebuttal to the Owner: The only time I bring my family is on the weekends. As I stated before, we have never had a problem returning to the arcade in the evening. You say you have a sign on the door and a policy of no one under 21 after 9pm that has been in effect for 14 months. 1. Why has it never been enforced before now? 2. Why did the Doorman and Manager lady say that had we been in the building before 9pm we could have stayed?

The Bar and adults drinking adult beverages happens at any time you are open. Therefore your establishment is an adult environment at all times not just after 9pm on the weekend. Kids don't hang around the bar they play games.

Just as you stated adults with be adults. Well kids will be kids. I'm sorry your staff left the podium unattended. I brought my family to the Arcade for all of us to play games including myself. Do you have another policy I am unaware of that says kids must be under constant supervision on the premises which in effect prevents adult parents from...

I took my family here this weekend. 2 adults, a teenager, and 2 boys under 10. For all of us for unlimited games was about 60 bucks. This is an amazing deal. We stayed for 3hrs and played game after game after game. Basically it comes to 4 dollars an hr per person. You will not find that anywhere else. The arcade was nice the games all worked. Which is not typical, and my boys were def impressed. Not having to swipe* a card for each play made it so much less stressful. We got there about noon and it was pretty packed bt still theres so many games u have plenty to play. Outside of the arcade free play- Pinball is extra. And there was a huge line bt i dnt care for pin ball. Mario kart is a dollar a play. Which compared to some places, considering that game it is a good deal. But we thought it would be quarters or we could trade quarters. I wasnt going to use the atm. So we didnt get to play that. They chose to play skeeball once. Very nice skeeball machine. And this other prize game. Both 50 cents a play. The food* smelled really good. We would have ate there bt i alr had a nice dinner planned. Next time we will. The bathrooms were clean. Which my boys appreciate. The little guy would rather have an accident than potty in a dirty potty. So thank you. The one down side was waiting for sodas at the bar. The poor girl was trying her best. But maybe another bartender would help. She was very nice and working quick. Bt it was busy enough maybe a second one would be good. For her sake lol. Either way overall this place is dope. If yall could put a curtain over those top windows it would be amazing. Cuz u cant really play the games that window shines thru at. Blinds the heck outta you.

Otherwise i give this place a solid 5/5. We will be back. It would be fun for kids or just adults. What...
