Not happy with it here. I only spent 20 minutes and I was just purely unsatisfied. Waiting to get a pass to go in took a bit of time, but getting the rentals took at least a 10 minute wait. Instead of being friendly, they just kinda acted as if they were there. Very dull. It was really annoying having to wait so long to get skates, or even switching sizes because no one was at the booth. It wasted so much time. The music was not that great, either. Yes some people may enjoy it, but it didn’t have that “having a blast!” Kind of vibe. When skating, I prefer to listen to things that everyone knows, or at least everyone can have fun to. This was just very boring. You also could not really do anything on the skate floor without getting correction over the loud speaker. Many people will go to the wall if they feel like they are about to fall or just to stand there to gain stability. If you did this, the person loud speaker would say you can not do such thing, and that you had to get off the floor. During games, such as four corners, knowing the basic rules, they were deeply enforced. Instead of having fun, the rules were definitely strict for those to “get off the floor.” I felt no fun whatsoever here. Last but not least, when you love to skate, vibing is a major thing. Dancing and enjoying your time (trying to go backwards or just taking things slow to enjoy your surroundings, wasn’t even allowed. This one guy was having a ball just dancing around, but got called out to stop and just go forward. I understand to keep things safe and prevent collisions, but if that person is good with skates and knows what they are doing, they too need to have fun. I felt like it was extremely limited here, along with slow pace. I didn’t...
Read moreRealllly awful. The management is rough. We got micromanaged every second we were there. At one point the staff took our coats including our wallets and phones and put them on the other side of the building because “you can’t leave your stuff at the tables” but we literally just got there and we’re getting the kids their skates. They also didn’t tell us they were doing that or that there was a rule against it. They just let us panic thinking someone stole all of our belongings while we were grabbing skates. Later when we were leaving, I put my skates on the chair next to me while I was taking my daughter’s skates off and while my back was turned, management again took my skates and didn’t say a word to me about why. Turns out they have a rule against skates being in the chairs which would be fine if they ever said that??? They said nothing and instead just gave me the run around when I was trying to get my shoes and leave. My toddler got her fingers smashed by some older kids while playing air hockey and management didn’t do anything. And management had the worst attitude the entire time. Just always seemed in a bad mood never a smile on their faces. The only good thing about this place was the teens and the woman working at the skate stand and the concession stand. When management took my skates one of them remarked “I’m so sorry, he’s been doing this all day” so I’m sure it wasn’t just an issue for us. Please do better management. Skating should be fun. I have never had such a bad experience bringing the...
Read moreThis was my first time here and I was not impressed. Maybe it is because there are so few roller skating rinks in the area that this business feels they can treat their customers the way they do, but they should be making the experience one which would make people return. My granddaughter had her birthday party there; they ran out of the skating helpers; 3 guests in our group had them; when we asked about letting another girl in our group share one, we were told no. We were willing to pay but were still told no. I took one of the pitchers over to the snack bar and asked for a refill of WATER; after being questioned for the name of the birthday person, which I gave them, I was asked if I was the host. I said I was her grandmother. I was then told only the HOST could get refills I was asking for WATER. . . not soda or anything else! I felt this is rude and totally uncalled for! The worst part was the adult male who was skating. He obviously is a good skater but to constantly have him raising his arms when he skated over by the tables so we had a clear view of his underwear as well as his overhanging belly, was extremely annoying, uncomfortable and just plain awful to look at. I understand that everyone who pays admission has the right to skate but when it causes other people to feel uncomfortable, something should be...
