Kiwanis Park is a great spot with a lot to offer! The park is clean, well-maintained, and has something for all ages. My kids had a blast on the play equipment, there’s a small structure perfect for the littlest ones, and a larger one that my older kids absolutely loved. The only downside is that there's no real adult access to the top of the big play area, so I had to climb up the rock wall a couple times to help my child down the slide until they were comfortable. There are also zip lines, though be careful, as my daughter took a tumble (she was okay, but said it hurt), while her friends thought it was awesome. The park also has adult workout machines, benches with shade, a basketball court, and very clean bathrooms. Overall, a great park we’ll be visiting again!

We came to spend this weekend at Busch Gardens for my son's birthday, and to be honest my 3 kids had way more fun at this little playground than at Busch Gardens. To think that we came all the way from NC excited with the big park and they ended up loving this playground instead, lol. It was really fun, they have areas for toddlers and for older kids, up to 12 years old. There were a lot of super friendly kids and my children made instant friends with all of them. If you are looking for Covid friendly places this is not the place for you though. No social distancing and most people were not wearing masks. But the kids had a blast. We will probably stop by tomorrow again before we leave town.

The latest upgrades to this park are really nice for the young kids; the ground surface is really soft and or padded and there are some labels stating the age range recommended for children for the different things in the play area. Took my youngest daughter here for the first time and she enjoyed it. My oldest daughter used to come here for years and I used to come here too when I was younger living with my parents. Definitely a staple in the community.

The park has a covered picnic area with tables. The playground is nice with foam type spongy pressed mulch? The zip line is popular. Their are individual weight exercise stations surrounding the outer edge of the park. Their is a basketball court. No public restrooms except a port a potty. The park has tennis courts and numerous ball fields. Their is a charging station for vehicles. Their is plenty of parking. I have seen people walk their dogs, however their is not a fenced in dog park. Veterans park has a new one that is real nice. Open sun up...
