The St. George Tucker House is one of the original colonial homes in Historic Williamsburg. It was built in 1718–19 for William Levingston. The house eventually came into the hands of St. George Tucker who had moved from Bermuda to Williamsburg.

A beautiful home open only to donors and open everyday. This is a place to relax and get out of the weather whether sun or snow. Six days a week there is a chat by an interpreter for 45 minutes on living in Colonial Williamsburg as a mercenary, a slave , wife of a general, or a slave preacher. Always interesting and staffed by knowledgeable volunteers. A wonderful historical home between the Governor's mansion and the courthouse. It is a place to meet up with people who love Colonial Williamsburg ...
