0.7 mile multi-purpose trail which runs between Port City Chop House and Summer Rest Road. Spectacular views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Open 8am to sunset. If you are coming by car you can park at the Port City Chop House, on right as you drive into their parking lot, which is where the trail begins. At the end of trail you will travel down Summer Rest Road (the most beautiful road in Wilmington) and then if you go right you're on the Cross City trail, which will go back to the Chop House where...

Its a beautiful trail and a nice walk, especially when it is hot.

I'm giving this 2 stars, not 5, because the county should be embarrassed to own a park without parking.

The steak house owner is standing outside at 4:30, lecturing people at a public park entrance that the lot is private and they could be towed. Embarassing.

The county needs to eminent domain a chunk of the parking lot at the steak house. Having a public park without public parking or public transportation access is...

Nice trail. No view of the water till you get to the end of the trail and then you're on summer rest road, which is all private property. The trail is paved nicely. There is no actual parking for the trail, but I parked at the G. Prime steak restaurant there is a trailhead there off that parking lot. Not sure. If it's okay to park there, but I did and didn't...
