5/5 Stars What an absolutely incredible experience! We hosted our wedding reception dinner in the Sunset Room at Bluewater Grille, and from start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The Venue The Sunset Room itself was nothing short of amazing - the ambiance was perfect for our celebration, with beautiful lighting and an elegant atmosphere that created exactly the intimate yet sophisticated setting we were hoping for. The space flowed beautifully for our reception dinner and provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. Outstanding Staff We had the pleasure of working with Meredith and Sarah throughout the planning process, and we cannot say enough good things about both of them. Their professionalism, flexibility, and attention to detail were exceptional. As anyone planning a wedding knows, guest counts and menu preferences can change multiple times leading up to the big day - Meredith and Sarah handled every adjustment with grace and efficiency. Their communication was truly top tier - they were responsive, proactive, and always made us feel like our event was their top priority. Flawless Execution On the day of our reception, the team's professionalism really shone through. Like many couples, we ran a bit behind schedule with photos, but the Bluewater staff seamlessly took care of our guests during the delay. They kept everyone comfortable and engaged, ensuring that our loved ones felt welcomed and attended to even when we weren't there. The service throughout the entire evening was impeccable - attentive without being intrusive, efficient, and genuinely warm. The Food & Service The culinary experience was outstanding, with dishes that were both beautifully presented and delicious. Our guests are still raving about the quality of the food and the professional yet friendly service they received throughout the evening. { EDITED } ... After some back and forth via email with who I guess was a corporate representative, I received a phone call from the manager of the restaurant. He was very polite and apologetic for our experience and invited our family back. We accepted and about a week later we returned.

Our second visit was MUCH better. The service and food were excellent! We even planned ahead a bit and made a reservation, which allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the view from their deck dining area.

We don't take leaving negative reviews lightly. In this day and age it's too easy to be a keyboard warrior and cause good businesses unwarranted hardships. At the same time, it's easy for establishments to brush off a customer's concerns and overlook missteps.

In this case, I'm very happy that they cared enough to see that all of their customers enjoy a pleasant experience and tasty food. We look forward to our next visit.

{original review} We went here for our daughter's birthday and even called ahead to make sure that they could provide a candle with her dessert and sing happy birthday for her, which they said yes.

We got there and were told that the wait to sit outside was over an hour, but that inside was 15 minutes. We waited to be seated indoors and were eventually seated at a table that had been empty the entire time we waited.

We ended up having to wait quite a bit for our drinks to come out and we ordered the coconut shrimp and smoked fish dip which were nice.

Unfortunately things we got worse from there... our dinners came out with sides and dressings for salads wrong. While my plate didn't come out at all. When the manager came by we informed him of the issues and he did get them all corrected, but when I got my plate, the food (filet mignon and scallops) were only just warm. The food was simply average.

After dinner we ordered dessert and were hoping the evening would be salvaged by a birthday song and a slice of pie with a candle. On par with the rest of the evening, the desserts came out at separate times and with no candle and no birthday song. When we asked for a candle, the waitress brought back two candles and walked away.

Disappointing. Our waitress was nice and polite (as was the manager), but the overall service, quality of food and promised birthday offering was non existent. It seems like the restaurant is riding on its prime location to make up for its lack of...

We dined here tonight for my mom’s birthday hoping to have a nice meal on vacation to celebrate her special day, but the entire meal was among the worst i’ve ever experienced. The food and the service left much to be desired. Our server was Keely and she was completely inattentive throughout the duration of the meal. As someone who manages restaurants, it was appalling what the establishment allows to come out of the kitchen. I will note I spoke to a manager who was helpful at the end of the evening, but I wanted to share for anyone who is considering this restaurant in the near future. I would wait until their kitchen staff becomes more skilled and their servers become more attentive to their tables.

FOOD: the shrimp scampi was completely dry and had zero flavor (two of us ordered it). The shrimp scampi at Olive Garden would top it any day for a third of the price. There were also still outer shells on some of my shrimp pieces. all three of our drinks tasted like they had been sitting in the sun for hours. My white sangria tasted like flavored water and my mom’s hurricane tasted the same way too. The side of fruit that was brought wasn’t ripe at all. All of the melons as well as the pineapple were hard as a rock. there was a live bug crawling on my dads plate.

SERVICE: she forgot our pepsis and didn’t bring them out for over 20 minutes She only checked on us once after the food came out…and it was after 2/3 of us were done eating I asked for a side of lemons with my order and I didn’t get them until the rest of my family had finished their meals because she never came to check on us and they weren’t initially brought. I noticed several times she was just standing around on the other side of the restaurant during the time she wasn’t checking on us (while we needed things and she had forgotten our items both times). At one point she even stopped at the table next to us, and still didn’t come over to check on us after the food arrived We had to ask for the check twice. After waiting for it for a while the first time we asked, she came back over and asked again if...
