Wrightsville Beach Marina — Attraction in Wrightsville Beach

It’s 4th of july weekend and we have a sailboat we just needed to top off our oil and asked to pull in. They told us we couldn’t park here to fill it up ( would have taken 5 minutes) we offered to buy gas or something and they said no because it’s a holiday weekend. Pretty surprised at how ridiculous it was. They had the whole front of the dock completely open the whole time we were waiting for Wrightsville beach bridge to open. Don’t understand why we couldn’t when we offered to buy something…The man with the orange hat originally just smirked and shook his head at us. It’s not like we have some beat up boat. Painful customer service. 0/10 recommend this place. Certainly will be telling our friends with boats to never come here. There was also more space in the front of the dock. I am not one to leave reviews but I feel like a second class citizen. Discrimination. Evidently this company owns the docking in front of Bluewater restaurant. Upon docking our jet skis up to eat a delicious lunch we were told we need stack our jet skis up to save dock space. This is no big problem(Odd request with it being in April and around 2:30 pm). After we stack tie up 3 jet skis we are told that the owner is here and that he no longer allows jet skis at his docks. Keep in mind we are all in our 30s and very respectful. We are told we can park around in the “mud” under the bridge. We are all boat owners as well and frequent this location weekly. Needless to say he has 3 less paying customers, I just hate Bluewater is part of the fall out....

This place is exceptional in every way! The Dockmaster and staff always go out of their way to make your stay perfect - whether you are there for the night or long term. They are professional, knowledgeable, and an all around remarkable team! Oh and how could I forget to mention the facilities - pool, laundry, showers - all impeccably maintained and beautiful! It's a perfect stop...
