MarineMax Wrightsville Beach — Attraction in Wrightsville Beach

I will never recommend Marine Max to anyone! We put our Bayliner 285 Ciera in to have new zincs put on, the bottom painted and some electrical work such as the trim tabs and something fixed. Fortunately we live in the area and could keep up with checking on the work. It took 4 times longer than it should have to do the work. Parts were ordered incorrectly, the zincs were not all put on, although we were told it was all set to go back in the water. Missing zincs were ordered. Again we were told it was ready to go. Luckily we came to check every time and insisted the boat not go in until we checked it. Then the bottom paint was supposed to have two coats. It didn't. I could still see the blue through the new black. The service advisor again told us the boat was good to go. For goodness sake!! Couldn't he just walk the 40 steps out to the boat and check it before calling!! I got there. Zincs weren't completed and paint still not finished! Finally, after months, it was done. LESSON: BE SURE TO CHECK ALL WORK BEFORE YOU PAY THE BILL!! I really wonder how many clients who are not here, but have MM do work get screwed on a daily basis. I can’t thank Dean and the team from MarineMax enough. If I had known buying a boat was going to be as fun and simple as they make it at MarineMax I would have done it years ago. As a busy young professional with a new family, I highly recommend MarineMax. Still, months after my purchase, I can contact Dean and he makes sure to get me whatever information or help that I need - even if it’s just a simple question about trailering or cleaning my boat. They stand by their products and back their customers beyond all expectations.
