Epic Excursions — Attraction in Wilmington

We had the best time with Captain Ian! We had a family sna-foo and the team was so accommodating in rebooking us twice. The boat was right on time for our 3 hour adventure. We had 2 adults and 7 children aging 6mos to 16 years and they were prepared with life jackets for all under 13 and a yeti cooler with ice. Knowing we wanted to make the most of our time, the captain took us to a sweet little inlet 15 min away with essentially a private beach with super shallow waters. It was perfect for the float mat and the toddlers. The captain set up cornhole on the beach for us along with out requested 2 chairs and a sunshade. He was friendly when we felt like chatting and otherwise kept to himself to give us family time. He always had a smile on his face and was really pleasant. An Unforgettable 60th Birthday Celebration!

We had the most incredible experience with Epic Excursions for a 60th birthday cruise - on Easter! From start to finish, everything was seamless. Captain Brian was exceptional—so courteous, personable, and knowledgeable. He truly went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time.

The cruise itself was beautiful, with stunning views and a relaxed, celebratory atmosphere. The food from Topsail Steamer was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect complement to our time on the secluded island! Cpt B was also Chef B and he did an awesome job. This experience was EPIC indeed and made the birthday celebration truly unforgettable.

I had the most amazing time celebrating my birthday with EE. It was the highlight of my wilmington trip 1000%! We all wished we could come back the next day for another tour! We booked the three hour and my only suggestion for those considering booking is book even longer! None of us were ready to leave when our time was up. I would celebrate this way every year if I could and spend the entire day out on the water. Also, can't forget to shoutout Jonathan who was an amazing captain. He had no complaints while we requested he take 5 million photos of us. He took us to Figure 8 and Masonboro. He kept us feeling safe and secure, even those of us who ventured to use the SUP.
