I first visited this facility for a work "retreat" day, hosted by Winona Health. A lovely day of paid time away from actual work, for all WH employees, full of self reflection and kinship.
This facility was bright, windows allowing the beautiful sun to filter in all day. From 8am until 4pm, the overhead lights weren't necessary due to the large windows.
A gas fireplace warmed up the environment and added to the days charm.
Clean and fully accessible for all abilities, the restrooms were some of the best I've seen in a public facility.
The kitchen offered everything we needed for the day, was furnished with a full size stove/oven, a gigantic fridge, and large sinks for cleaning. There is also a pass through window leading to the left hand side of the event room, making it easier to deal with large items.
It was supplied with tables and comfortable chairs that rocked and were on wheels. (My adhd enjoyed the ability to move when we were seated for long periods of time.)
The decor is focused on local baseball history, as one would expect.
