If I could give Verizon a negative score it would be at the very minimum a -10. Since I switched to VERIZON it has been a nightmare. (1). I ordered online an iPad AND an iPhone 14. Waited 1 week then called searching for the equipment. The package had been returned to a factory in Texas (I live in Minnesota) due to an incorrect address. Told I could go to Verizon store located at Frontenac Avenue to pick up phone and an iPad would be mailed. Received both. Billing time rolls around and it is $257. … and this is with a free phone and discounted iPad. Next month billing $350+. After visiting store and meeting with store manager: discovered I was being charged for 5 lines!!! Two iPads and two iPhone14s and internet. Factory had received returned iPad and iPhone but kept on billing me for them. (2) Joined Amazon PRIME in October. Billed Nov and Dec only to discover that when attempting to order from Amazon in Dec that my phone number (from VERIZON) was linked to someone else’s email address. SO I could not order from an account I was paying for and could not close the account due to someone else’s email address linked to my phone number. Verizon’s suggestion was that I should open up another Amazon account.
This has happened with 3 other companies and who knows how many more companies are out there there with my phone number and someone else’s email. MAX, the Verizon associate, indicated that when weird things like this occur I should simply open up another account. What?? The final straw was MAX walking away from us saying he had another customer. The ultimate in rude, horrible customer service.
Even though this has resulted in the loss of hours of time and headaches, and a considerable cost for me to get out of my contract, I refuse to stay with a company who WILL NOT correct the obvious error in assigning me an invalid phone number and treats me, the customer, with...
Read moreMy wife and I purchased 2 new phones a couple weeks ago and a Will, at Winona Verizon store made it real easy. He transferred data from each of our phones and made us bit so tech savoy 70 year old feel real good about our purchase.
My wife had a Facebook issue and we could not figured it out,so I suggested to her to stop at the Verizon building in Winona MN for any suggestions. A Version employee, Jason did NOT treat her at all very good. When my wife got home she told me about it and I almost went back to see Jason and confront him. You can disrespect me, but not my wife, my daughters, my friends as I will be in your face. I was at the same Version today with a minor detail and Cameron help me and I did ask about my FB issue my wife was in about. Cameron told me Verizon doesn't get into FB issues and explained. Why couldn't Jason have done that. My wife is small, very quiet, easy to be intimidated but don't do it. Jason needs to be talked to about his attitude, or be moved to another position. I have dealt with two Will's at that store and now Cameron and have been MN e to a satisfied, so don't let one bad apple spoil it. I don't want to hear the word sorry as that is suppose to make everything all OK, and I am suppose to say well I understand. No I don't understand. The word sorry is for, lazy, stupid bad attitude people and all are suppose to say well that's Ok My employees were told if you are having a bad day, fake it. Jason needs an attitude adjustment or look for a...
Read moreCame in about a month ago when my iPhone had stopped working. After talking to an associate they told me my options were to use the warranty or buy a new phone. They did not inform me til later that involved possibly being liable for a 1000 phone if their headquarters decided it wasn’t covered.
When I agreed to use the warranty (without knowing details) they said I was not allowed to do this because I was on a family plan and not the Admin. The admin is my father and they had no way of contacting him... seriously. So when I asked if I could contact my mom they agreed however was unable to reach her and therefore could not go through with any action.
Let me repeat - they would not allow me to use the warranty on my phone.
When I asked what the solution was they basically told me I was SOL, that is I was to remain without a phone of any kind almost 500 miles from my home.
I offered to just buy a new phone until it could be sorted out, they told me I couldn’t do that.
I repeatedly asked the manager to help me out but he would not. Literally just told me I was gonna be stuck without my phone and acted like I was trying to scam my family.
Anyway I ended up going to an apple store and they resolved it with a new phone in about 1.5 hours.
Don’t waste your time going here if you’re having trouble with your...
