Goodwill Winter Haven Store — Local services in Winter Haven

I was basically vacationing to visit my sister for her birthday. And I was trying to get her to buy something for herself. I don't think it was actually them but the whole city is pretty much not set up to accommodate outsiders. I bought a couple of their grab bags up front which contained broken items. They could not ring up things that were not priced because even though there was a manager there there's nobody there to deal with the prices on the stuff. Asking questions is considered inappropriate and rude. However there is a resale store across the street next to the salvation army, those people are awesome. Of course prices may not be what you expect and other things that's supposed to happen in retail. I seriously find it so hard to deal with the arrogance of that City did I invited my sister to come to my house for Christmas. I'm dead serious I asked one question about how two of the exact same thing in the exact same condition can be two different prices. But then again this is the county where the sheriff is proud of arresting a lady for purchasing feeder roaches for her birds. As well as my sister is mentally disabled she has severe brain damage from childhood and she perfectly fits in there so I'm...

Wish I could give zero stars...The manager and her assistant run around trying to "google lens" EVERYTHING that comes through the back door. They're gonna make sure you're not leaving with a deal. I took a picture for example. A simple fruit bowl, $35 and it's been in there for at least 3 weeks that I know of. How about a .50 cent "Ball canning jar" for $6, just another example. Butter dishes are $12. Cookie jars with no lids, $13...Absolutely absurd for stuff they get for free. On top of that, they are RUDE. They look at everyone like they are stealing. I have news for them, the accuser is usually the guilty one. Goodwill should investigate, to see how much stuff goes home in the employee's cars. Pretty sure I had more money in my pocket than the manager has in her bank account...They need not look at us like we are trying steal, Goodwill's over priced junk. Only “Goodwill” here is lining the Corporate pockets of their CEO’s. Absolutely insane. I see the videos online all the time, but never actually experienced it until today. Goodwill has lost their minds. These prices are shameful 5.99 for 3 used and stained baby burp clothes!? The audacity to charge 3 -5 more than the original tag price on clothes and having the nerve to leave the original tag !? Two identical children’s microscopes but a 20 dollar price difference!? The employee had no “authority” to adjust the price lower, only her GM could and she wasn’t there !?
