Bradley Hardware — Local services in Wolfeboro

I've been going to Bradley's hardware for 30 years. In season I'm probably there 2 to 5 times a week and everybody has been extremely helpful. Today was a very very disappointing visit. One person told us that they have what I described and then just left us in the aisle saying 'yeah there's a lot of hardware here.... we get trucks everyday.' The woman at the counter told me they had exactly what we were looking for and just told me it's at the end of aisle 7. I had to get down on my hands and knees and still couldn't find it. A shout out and thank you to the Bradley’s repair department. Fantastic service, great guys. My Stihl gas leaf blower would not start after I put gas in it. They assessed the problem, drained the gas, put new gas in and it is as good as new. No charge and service with a smile. It is important to purchase your tools and other products at Bradley’s rather than at big box stores and on-line the prices are the same. It is so important to support our local hardware store. ...

Surprising rude for a small town hardware store. My fiancé called because we needed an AC unit during a heatwave and they told us if we didn’t get here in time they’d close up. We told them we’d be right over since we were 3.3 miles away but they closed and locked the door at 5:01p. You’d think a little compassion would be there for someone who took the time to call ahead and wanted to spend a few hundred dollars...
