Bob's is a joke. If I could give them a zero I would. Do not shop at Bob's, you will be better off shopping at Wayfair. I purchased a bedroom set from Bob's almost 2 months ago and they had the nerves to deliver a damaged dresser. Bob's came to my house on 4 different dates to exchange the dresser due to each time Bob's delivered it, it had defects in it. Prior to the 4th delivery Customer Care promised me that the next dresser would be delivered with no issues or defects. She told me that I would also receive a discount from Bob's for being inconvenience but that I had to receive the dresser first and then Bob's and I can negotiate the amount of discount I would receive. She also provided me with a incident number so that I could go back to review the recording as evidence of the above. During the 4th delivery the dresser was delivered again with defects. Bob's texted me with a discount offer that was non-negotiable. The offer only added insult to injury. The discount offer was for the defect and had nothing to do with the amount of stress and inconvenience Bob's caused me. I am going to hire an attorney to file a civil suit against Bob's to include attorney fees. I missed money, time, and I missed out on a vacation due to having to be home for Bob's deliveries only for the dresser to be defected each time it was delivered. Not to mention I am paying for a dresser that I can not use. I purchased the dresser to store my clothings in and will not put my clothing in a defected dresser only to have to remove them. This whole ordeal has caused me stress and mental anguish. Also to mention, I purchased a comforter set over a month ago and to this day of November 26, 2023 I still have not received my purchase. Bob's never reached out to me to provide me with an update, weeks later I had to reach out to Bob's to ask for an update on my comforter. Not to mention the defected dresser is still in my home being unused. I have asked to speak with Bob's owners and my requests were denied. I submitted to Customer Care by text a discount amount that would make me whole and that requests was denied... Update January 2, 2024. I still have yet to speak to Bob's owner since my last post. A technician came to my house in December a few days before Christmas and called himself repairing a brand new dresser I have never used and still have not used to this day. I am not satisfied with the service or dresser. Also my home security camera caught the technician taking pictures inside my bedroom without my knowledge or consent. That is an invasion of my privacy and illegal to take pictures or videos inside a customer's home with their knowledge or consent. Had he asked for my permission to take pictures, that would have allowed me the opportunity to remove any personal property of mine that I did not want to be photographed or recorded. "Also, I still have not received a credit that I was promised last year by Bob's customer service for the inconvenience Bob's caused me". However, I finally received my Hallmart Collectibles 4 piece comforter and I absolutely hate it. It sheds like a dog. The fur from the comforter gets on everything such as clothings, especially dark colored clothings, hair, eyelashes, eyebrows etc. Its annoying and I do not want it. She answered all my questions and helped us in every step to make sure I was happy with what I was picking. She showed me all options and helped me with ideas to design my room!
EDITED—— Although Brianna was great in selling us this set. The next steps were horrible. The day of delivery arrived and two very rude and unprofessional men arrived and delivered and set up the furniture. Upon inspection, I noticed scratches, broken hinges, uneven drawers. I told the delivery driver this and he stated “the next one will come looking the same.” (He was right) He also didn’t want to move the furniture around a couple inches the way I wanted to. He said he would come back to receive the furniture because his truck was full and never kept his word and never came back. After I gave him a good tip he lied to me. And still had the nerve to ask for a good review. After being on the phone for the whole day, I was issued a refund. I then thought I should give them one more chance to give me a new set because I did really like it. I asked for an inspection to be made on my next set to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
The next delivery day scheduled arrives and two more rude and unprofessional men arrive. They come into my home to look at the original furniture and he states that he can fix the crooked drawers and that the scratches and broken hinges “aren’t that bad” and “that’s how they come.” He seemed like he didn’t even want to deliver the new set. The plan was for them to take the old one and give me a new one so that’s what I asked for. He goes outside to unpackage the new set in the driveway. He came inside and said come take a look at them. We go outside and watch them as they take furniture out of boxes completely scratched with a lot of paint peeled off. Mind you, there was no inspection done and no sticker stating it was done. After being on the phone for the whole day again, I scheduled a day for them to take back the first one and issue me a refund. Note: A manager issued me the refund including the delivery fee and everything the first time. This time, it took five people on the phone to get that. I then check my receipt emailed to me and it was not the full amount. I call back and she says she never saw me pay the amount I paid and has to email the accounting department and they’ll get back to me in a few days.
If you ordered a brand new bedroom set that was not cheap and it came back broken twice, wouldn’t you be upset and frustrated? Almost everyone I spoke to on the phone was also very rude to me. Telling me to let them finish their sentence, yelling at me to hold on and calm down.
Worst experience ever and I will never step foot in a bobs again or let anyone I know give bobs any business for their cheaply made furniture and terrible customer service.

However, I have had a very poor and distressing experience with their Goof proof service over the last one month. I had purchased their furniture accident insurance (I do that for every purchase for peace of mind, their salespeople actively encourage you to buy it during the buying process assuring coverage for accidental damage). Last month, there was a small accident due to which a wooden plank in the bed I had bought broke. I filed a claim and have been running from pillar to post with their Goof proof partner provider Guardian Protection Products (wrote a separate review for that). I get all kinds of flimsy reasons and delaying tactics for denying the claim, in spite of providing all details of the incident and photos, and satisfying every claim condition including the reason and timing. Their agent filed the first claim information incorrectly and when I filed a corrected claim, I have been denied resolution. Bob’s on their part claim they can’t help because the Goof proof service is provided by a ‘third party’. Well, in that case why do you persuasively sell the protection package to clients who then buy it in good faith considering Bob’s recommended it? I can’t think of a better example of lack of accountability and selling bad deals to trustful customers. I am now ready to take this to the appropriate consumer forums and Bob’s leadership. As a final note, I have probably bought tens of thousands of dollars worth of furniture from Bob’s and was keenly looking to buy my next family room sofa set from there (visited the store a couple of months ago and even took a quote for a 3 seater from them). But this recent experience has been so disappointing that I am done with them for good and will ask all prospective customers to be very cautious, especially purchases with protection.
