Kohl's — Attraction in Woodland Park

I recently visited Kohl's in Woodland Park, New Jersey to utilize their Amazon drop off service. Overall, my experience was positive, but there was one minor issue that I encountered during my visit.

Firstly, I must commend Kohl's for partnering with Amazon and providing this convenient drop off location. It's incredibly convenient for those who frequently order from Amazon and need a hassle-free way to return or exchange items. The designated area for the Amazon drop off is clearly marked and easy to find within the store.

However, my only concern was the staffing at the Amazon drop off section. During my visit, I noticed that there was a limited number of staff members available to assist customers. This resulted in a slightly longer wait time, especially during peak hours. It would be great if Kohl's could consider increasing the number of staff members dedicated to this area to ensure a smoother and faster process for customers.

Despite this small setback, the staff members who were present were friendly, professional, and did their best to manage the situation efficiently. They were knowledgeable about the drop off process and provided assistance whenever possible.

I appreciate the convenience that Kohl's offers by having an Amazon drop off service, and I hope they address the staffing issue soon. With more staff members available, the experience would undoubtedly be even better, and customers would have an even smoother transaction.

If I can give 0 stars I would. I have never experienced horrible customer service through Amazon returns until today. It occurred between 1:00-1:30PM Thursday 7/7/22 and I want to make sure its the right person working that shift since I didn't get her name. She had a ponytail with a headband. I observed 2 elderly women in front of me. The Kohl's worker handling Amazon returns did not say Hi, she was throwing items into a box, slamming things, and did not say Thank you to none of the elderly women. So I expected the same nastiness. So I patiently waited as she's still working on the packages as the women had already left. She finally says NEXT.....came to the window with the package and she says in a very nasty tone PUT IT IN THE CENTER. So I said WOW. She goes "whatchu" (that's how she said it so ignorantly) saying WOW for it goes in the center pointing. I told her you are a miserable nasty person, if you hate your job so much, find another by not working with people. She says I Love my job, I said I can't tell because your so miserable and rude. She is still talking back at this point. She is so nasty and looking at the reviews of this store I am not the first person she was nasty with. I love Kohls and this location is absolutely my favorite.

I just purchased a Simply Vera Wang wallet from here a few minutes ago that I absolutely love. I work in billing for a financial company, have worked in customer service and merchandising so I’m relatively good when it came to numbers and I make sure to keep an eye out for the signs and discounts. I asked an older woman with glasses who worked at Kohls how much the wallet was and the scanner said original price 39 and sale price was 31 before an additional 20% discount. I told her that was incorrect and the sign said differently and she said what was scanned was correct. I knew she just didn’t want to walk over and check. I purchased the wallet anyway and after went to take a picture of the sign and went up to an associate in the front to assist me. I showed him the signs and he returned the item, priced it correctly at the sale price then added the 20%. Granted it was about a 10 dollar difference but I plan on shopping here next week for the holidays and I need to know the signs are correct and followed before I spend a significant amount of money.
