We had so much fun! My husband and I went with his grandparents and our 2 year old. It was enjoyable for the whole family. The tickets were not too expensive and they have a lot of discounts for military/triple A/etc. you can use this on both the tickets and merchandise. They had lots of people walking around answering questions. A nice young lady came up to me and asked if I had any questions. Usually I’m overlooked because I’m chasing a toddler - so it was so nice to not feel invisible and feel pulled in instead of glossing over everything as I’m on the run. She then spent a long time with my husband and his grandma answering all their questions. They’re very family orientated and friendly!
I do wish there was a little more thought into the displays for young children though as most were still way too tall for young children. I also appreciate the fact they offered discounts to the military and students. They seemed like a kind genuine person. They even pointed out the dinosaur murals that I had not seen before! I honestly had to call to make sure I spelled the name correctly and spoke with Lindi. She may be new but her voice is certainly soft on the ears. Glad she took the time to research for me. Thanks Lindi & Keira for a great customer experience!
The actual museum is filled with knowledge facts and interactive media. Not to mention they have staff on hand that can answer even the most bizarre questions you can come up with. I particularly like the seeing window to see the actual fossil shop molding process! Also, dude in the back there in the kilt- F*IN ROCK IT!
The gift shop had a large variety of goodies for all ages. They do have an online store in which you can order online which is great if you didn't grab what you wanted. With a filter to help you sort and find exactly what you want.
Overall an amazing experience! Cannot wait to come back with a friend to learn...
