Mostly very clean. Though in the evening I was told by the local police department as they were searching the lake with their flashlights that they were looking for a possible body which confused me as to there was people fishing in it all day I would assume that they would shut the lake down and drain it before they would allow anybody to have a fish caught out of that particular Lake with possible decomposing body inside? I know this is one of the weirdest comments or weirdest reviews I thought it was pretty weird when they told me that.

this is a neat park. there is a pond with a stream leading to it with sand so kids can play. an area with sound instruments like xylophones but are bigger than people. also a typical playground d for kids. there are basketball courts. plenty of grass area for different activities. Multiple Gazebos for shade and picnics. We went for symphony above the clouds. Such and fun and chill atmosphere. Plus it was free which is rare this day and age.

Memorial Park makes Disneyland look like a rundown Chuck E. Cheese. Forget the “Happiest Place on Earth”—this is where the REAL magic happens.

The other night, I was minding my business on a park bench, eating a gas station burrito, when suddenly the sky lit up like the 4th of July. A UFO descended, landed right next to the lake, and three aliens strutted out like they owned the place. One of them dabbed, another one tried to fight a goose, and the third just asked me if I had Wi-Fi. Savage.

I swear these aliens were cooler than 90% of the people I know. They gave me a high-five, beamed up a fisherman’s tackle box (RIP to that guy’s weekend plans), and then blasted off like it was just another Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Disneyland charges you $9 for a churro. Weak. At Memorial Park, you get front-row seats to intergalactic nonsense for free.

If you’re not hanging out here, what are you even doing...

Memorial Park in Woodland Park, Colorado, is a highly valued community hub offering diverse activities amid scenic beauty. It's renowned for its stunning Pikes Peak views. The park provides extensive recreational facilities, including playgrounds, walking paths, a fishing pond (used for ice skating in winter), picnic areas with pavilions, basketball courts, and horseshoe pits. It's also dog-friendly. Beyond daily recreation, the park is a popular venue for numerous community events like farmers markets, festivals (e.g., Vino & Notes Wine and Music Festival, Mountain Arts Festival), and seasonal celebrations. The park is well-maintained and serves as a central gathering space that blends natural tranquility with active...

Beautiful Rocky mountain scenery is surrounding this pleasant upscale park. Long, broad sidewalks gracefully scale the peremetor of the whole campus, giving you the 360° view of the children's playground area, small lake/big pond, water fountains and the little rivulet that runs its course back into the body water. During the summer, you can grab a blanket, your kids, your dogs, and a book, relaxing into the perfectly landscaped iconic American park that Memorial Park stands for. There's an outdoor fireplace under the Pavillion, which you can reserve for an event or a simple family union BBQ. The bathrooms are adequate and clean. Very enjoyable place to...
