compuXpress — Attraction in Worth Township

I moved from Salt Lake City to Chicago, and when I finally received my computer (shipped through UPS) it didn't boot because the power supply was done.

I knew the power supply was toast because the machine wouldn't boot, or it would boot for roughly 2 seconds before shutting itself down again. After troubleshooting this machine with its manufacturer (DigitalStorm), they recommended that I take the machine somewhere local to have them further troubleshoot the machine. (Note: The DigitalStorm technician's theory was "the power supply is toast and the graphics card is broken, too.")

I took the machine in to compuXpress on a Saturday. The man I left the machine with charged me $25, as my device was custom built. (Note: This was a great and fair price versus the ~$100 I would have had to spend to get it to DigitalStorm). He told me that he wouldn't be able to start troubleshooting my machine until the following Monday (2 days later.)

Lone and behold, I received a phone call on Monday from the technician and he told me that the power supply was toast and the graphics card was broken. Not only did he TELL me, but he sent me photos and a video of the inside of my machine, as well as proof that he was able to get the machine to boot and stay live.

I'd definitely give the business, compuXpress, a rating of 5/5 on customer service, price, and results. The process was quick, budget friendly, and the service was very kind. I even returned later on in person to thank them for their work.
