I use this dealership because it’s close to home. My last visit was only halfway decent because the manager replaced a part that became ineffective during my warranty on “goodwill.” I’ve also had very attentive service previously. Thank you for that. However, the representative in the service department on this particular visit kept telling me to give him a minute (turned into 15); and saying there should be another rep in there (not my problem). I only finally got him to check me in when the manager walked in and I spoke up to say “no, I’ve not been helped!” He finally checked me in. I went to the waiting area, then went to look at the new models in the showroom. Came back in to see my car still sitting there with the door wide open, unattended. When I asked the same service rep how long it would be since it’s been sitting there already unattended for 15 minutes he replied “we have other customers.” To which I replied “that was condescending and rude.” I asked him if there was a better time to come and he said that I was there at the best time. So I decided to wait but asked for a ride down the street while my car was serviced. To his credit he found someone to take me; but when he called me an hour later to tell me my car was ready he said, “it will be a while before someone can pick you up because I sent them somewhere far” (he named a town but I don’t remember. I jokingly said “I probably could walk and get there faster.” He replied “yes, that would probably be faster.” I walked on a windy day; after having had a biopsy on my neck,in the cold and came in the sales office to find my keys (original service rep was nowhere to be found); and the one guy in there couldn’t bring his eyes to meet mine for a sec so I could get my keys and get home to get warmth; so I politely interrupted his conversation. After trying to wait patiently and asked him where I could pick my keys up, as my car was ready, he very dismissively said “your keys are at the cashier.” I said thank you and proceeded to get my keys and leave. The cashier was courteous as usual and my time there was done. Don’t know if it has anything to do with it but I ended up with an upper respiratory that I’m still recovering from....Would I go to another Toyota dealership if it were one closer....a...
Read moreI bought my first Toyota as a college student more than a decade ago. I was in the market for a new car, but knew that inventory right now is very limited. I wanted a Hybrid Highlander XLE with black leather interior. I knew I was probably going to have to buy new because hybrids and used cars are in very short supply so I was on every Toyota call list from Chicago to Kanosha. I got a call from Erica at OLT every time they were allocated a Hybrid Highlander. Edwin was my sales associate and I was very clear that I wasn’t buying until I had everything I wanted. I cannot stand a pushy sales associate and he was patient as I turned down not one, but two brand new Hybrid Highlanders because one had an interior I hated and the other wasn’t the right trim. The night after I turned down the second option, I got a call that someone had traded in a 2021 Hybrid Highlander XLE with low miles. I went to the dealership a few hours later to check it out and it had quite a few scratches on the doors so Steve sent it to the body shop to see if they could get them out and called me back a few days later to take another look. It wasn’t perfect, but they did a great job and it was everything I wanted. Marty in finance was absolutely wonderful to work with. The only part of the experience I didn’t enjoy was whoever is in charge of the optional add ons (rust and paint protection) and accessories was very pushy and said at least 20 times that I had only 2 weeks to purchase the add ons. I get it’s his job, but if I’m not interested, I’m not interested. Overall I had a great experience, it is now a few weeks later and I love...
Read moreIf I could've rated this place a zero I would've, first of all it was my first time purchasing a vehicle so decided to take my father along. We were there to purchase a 2016 Toyota Avalon for 21,999 mind you the one that we seen online wasn't the one they had in inventory so the prices were not he same, they were just going based on the price we told them at first, so the one they showed us could've been cheaper who knows. My father was trying to make a deal with the manager see if we can save a few bucks nothing personal. They left it at 22k out the door, to my father and I sounded like a "great deal." I had forgotten my license, so I had to go back home to get it, but it was a for sure buy. I wasn't able to make it that same day because of traffic and they were about to close it was a Saturday, Memorial Day weekend. The following day for some reason my father decided to check the car again online and it was listed for 20,436 I get to the dealer to see if they can go lower because now my "great deal" was out the door. The sales manager tells me yea well it's 22k out the door because of plates and taxes are you kidding me, so I can get the same "great deal" at another dealer with plates and everything included. Come on who are they trying to fool here. The general and the sales manager were very rude will never go back to that place. The General Manager also tells me the deal we had agreed on the day before was because it was the end of the month, but yet you have it posted online for 20,436 what deal was he talking about after all. Overall worse experience ever, very...
