My boyfriend and i went in with a pretty big collection of full arts, EX’s, V’s, and trainers with a bunch of chase cards to sell, we had all of the cards in slabs and sleeves, obviously to inspect the cards you would have to take them out, it was around a 2 hour process, We had a total summed up of what it would be which was around $900 for everything. The guy got done with everything and said the most he could’ve given us was 370?! Their market price was 60% and i did the math and it was more like 40%. My boyfriend and I looked at eachother with such a disappointed look knowing they were trying to scam us of our cards because we know our cards were very well taken care of like we open cards and when we pull they go right into a sleeve and then slab, we POLITELY declined and apologized for wasting his time, he gave us the cards back all stacked on top of eachother unsleeved rubbing against eachother which we were not happy about. We visited PokeTrade Emporium on 9/22! We met Niko a few years back at a car show in NJ! From day one the first impression set a footprint on us! Not only was he and his team super personable - great prices & awesome products. At the time he just had a stand in the mall - and now he’s been able to upgrade to a store front! We were in the area for a wedding and decided to go north on the way home to stop by! From the moment we walked in we were greeted - clean story - awesome customers too! Cute little table for the kids to hang out and watch movies too! We were so glad we were able to mark this off from our bucket list! We were impressed by the pricing and the stock! I’ve been to this shop twice and was extremely disappointed BOTH times. Brought in a PSA 10 to get looked at and because there wasn’t much sales on it they started pricing it based on what PSA 8 and PSA 9s of that same card were going for which is absolutely sacrilegious considering I was in the shop 2 weeks prior for the same card they valued at 250 was now valued at 90 because of “recent sales” that didn’t exist. The prices here for ETBs, boosters and single packs are probably close to double of the next shop as well and is most likely do to the shops rent at that location.
