Wick Park — Attraction in Youngstown

Decent park, but with all the space that's there it seems like something else can be added to attract more people in the area. It's kind of relaxing and there's always people walking through for exercise or walking their dogs. They even have a small area with a splash pad. There are benched to sit on, but I don't see picnic tables or grills. There's a small play area in the middle forthe kids, and there are courts that i believe are tennis courts. Overall park is kept clean, neat, and quiet. Nice people there, nice lengthy walking path, workout stations along path are great and machines are in good condition, lots of shade to hide in from the hot sun, new playground, nice and clean pavilion and indoor restrooms as well as porto-pottys outside the building, barbecue and picnic tables and fenced in...

Great park during the day, large pavilion in the center good for banquets or family gatherings with indoor plumbing and water fountains. Parts may seem poorly maintained but it's mostly old roads not repaved. Stay away after dark though, the surrounding neighborhood gets shady after dark and addicts and homeless...
