These people are hateful and spiteful. Ever since they opened their event space that rented out for parties every Saturday night and we who live across the street are going through absolute hell. There are 170 of us that live at the Town Center for senior citizens who are disabled Angelo income. We have always supported this market and they're great Cinco de Mayo festivals but that day is over. We are petitioning and asking everyone to stop supporting them. They blare the music every Saturday night until 2:00 in the morning and then afterwards they stand and party in the street in front of their building and in the parking lot. None of us can sleep on Saturday nights anymore. It is impossible. We have tried working with the police but the people at the event Center tell the police that they will be finished by 11:00 and that is not true. There is nothing we can do absolutely nothing. We are going through a miserable hell. I want them to have success I really do and so do all my other resident neighbors but why Blair the music until 2:00 in the morning why Blair it at all? How how loud do you have to have that? If we can hear it in our homes with our Windows shut then can you imagine how loud it is there? They are losing all our business and we will continue to get the word out to everyone to...
Read moreHere we go again. Another Saturday night with no sleep. Our neighborhood is ruined with this place since they opened the event center. For the last three hours it has been deafening thump thump thump constant noise. I can't imagine how loud it is inside the facility. Something has got to be done. I have talked with neighbors who have called the police who say they have spoken with the business but the business does not care. What are we supposed to do? You have the right to party but does that mean we don't have the right to peace. Isn't there some common ground where we can negotiate decency. I see other reviews here with the same concerns. I will also boycott and do what I can to get support to stop for this place until they cooperate with...
Read moreGreat little Market in the middle of Ypsi! As a relatively new transplant to Michigan (Canton) I was floored by the lack of Hispanic food items in our local markets. sorry Krogers but Old El Paso taco stuff doesn't cut it. After some googling we found Dos Hermanos Market. What a relief!
While it caters mainly to Central American Latinos, I have been able to find more than a few Puerto Rican staples and (and this is a big and) I have been able to sample some new favorites! The meats, chorizo suelto, fresh pico and guac! Roots of all kinds and plantains, man is it hard to find green platains in MI!
That along with the friendly service makes it my go to place when I want a little something that reminds me of home. Give them a shot, trust me you...
