Pros: Small but lovely designed resort. The food is ok. The staff, especially the girls, are friendly. The pool is perfect. Our room was big, the shower is hugh and the property is well maintained. But that's mostly because the resort is relatively new. The cost of staying here is relatively inexpensive. But this resort has some flaws.
Cons: The beach down the road is just nasty because of all the trash, so better skip it. There isn't much to do and see around here. You will need a scooter to get around (costs 150.000 dong/day). Housemaids aren't meticulous because they didn't refill the showergels ect. plus there was a half used coke can in the minibar which we found out two days later (explain that to the staff that doesn't speak good english). Food portions are very small compared which makes the price not really acceptable. The staff (mainly the guys) in general is good at doing nothing. They sit around and stare at their phones instead of taking care of the guests. Airport transfer: 250.000 dong.
Worst thing: we had to wait 45 mins to be picked up from the airport. Then they told us they would pay the taxi for us because of this and in the end they charged us for the taxi. Taxameter: 169, they charged us 200. NOT OK! I've never seen such an unprofessional behavior!
Overall I wouldn't come back and stay here. To many cons in my opinion. But to...
Read moreGood resort in Phu Quoc with spacious rooms and a nice pool! The beds were big and comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious with a huge shower. Friendly staff but unfortunately not so many that spoke English (The ones that spoke English was really sweet and helpful). The resort has a golf car with a sweet driver who took us to the beach or a good restaurant whenever we asked for it. Breakfast was nice, a lot of choices from bread, cereals and fruits to banana crepes or scrambled eggs.
Overall a good resort that fits both couples as families with children. Some less good things: Low isolated rooms, could hear your neighbors very well both through the walls and outside to the poolside. Especially in the bathroom where it sometimes felt like we were in the same room as our neighbors. Not many staff spoke English, not even everyone who worked in the reception which made it difficult for us to communicate. The food was very expensive and not really tasty, and also very small portions. We went elsewhere for food almost every day when we stayed at the resort for over two weeks. A lot of ants wandering around. We could notice them both on the tables and on plates during breakfast. We also had a lot of ants in our bathroom when we arrived so we needed to...
Read morePerfect place! Definitely recommend Rooms are spacious and beautiful. There are a fan and a conditioner. Everyday cleaning is possible. Super nice territory with a pool, which is open until 10 p.m. All receptionists were nice, but english is not so good, place to improve. As well as breakfasts. They are served close to the pool from 7 until 10 a.m. A bit new choice in buffet everyday, but not a great variety. It's good they suggest at least one proper meal every time, e.g pasta with seafood, rice, beef etc. We lived in room 101, it's the 1st one after entrance, close to the buffet - so you will wake up at 6:30 a.m, because it too loud - they are preparing breakfast. And this room is close to the maintaince or electrical room, something, that is also next door loud at night. Maybe it's water warming, don't know, but sometimes it was difficult to fall asleep.
In general the place is perfect, worths it's money, super nice, close to the beach, they provide special towels for the beach. Staff is also nice, allowed us to leave our luggage after check out and grab it later. Not loud place, because it's located a bit far from the main road. Buses are also close - 5 min on foot to the bus stop. 15 min far is a big shop, on the way you find restaurants and...
