If I could give this monstrosity zero stars, I would. I'm an ordinary girl from the UK, I'm not an animal activist or vegan or even slightly vegetarian. But I do like animals....and as a result, I don't like this place. It's basically a place where sea animals meet a horrific end....as do the people who eat them (it's not hygenic) It's simply awful. I was lured in by there not being an awful lot on the island to do...and some people seem to give this place an ok rating. Let me tell you,...

WOW... From the moment we stepped in, the hustle and bustle just grew. The THINK THUMP THUMP of the ice cream makers few use in... Week with checking out, mesmerising... And treat ice cream, to boot.

Then it was on into the market proper. VERY busy, but able to move through easily.

Fish of the highest order and everywhere. A dozen or so restaurants, opened uo to the street, each filled with locals and tourists filling up on delicious looking dishes.

Misfits lives it, but as a non fish...

Be careful eating at night market. Food is overpriced especially if they call you in and there's loud music. We had some shrimps, which were badly barbecued, tuna stake, which was about to become non-eatable, some ocra and 2 beers - the invoice was 1.200.000 VND, which is normally for 4 meals! In Saigon we had theee sorts of shells, shrimps, noodles, for 230.000VND. We complained but at the end we still paid 800.000. I disn't want to call the police as I'm on holidays, but it was really...
