Park 26 — Attraction in Adelaide

One of the best decisions SACA (South Australian Cricket Association) agreed to and the past SA government made was approving an upgrade of Adelaide Oval. Moving AFL matches from West Lakes to the CBD was a brilliant move. Not only does it revitalise the city during the cricket and football seasons, but it attracts interstate fans to make the trip to Adelaide to support their team. Thankfully, the beautiful old scoreboard remains, as does the 'Hill'. It is a brilliant venue that plays host not just to sporting events, but music concerts too. Just perfect for both. The area along the bank of the River Torrens offers a fantastic open space that is undoubtedly refreshing. However, the metropolitan authorities should consider increasing the number of restrooms, as the average walking distance to the nearest facilities is quite high. Quite honesty the river smelt really bad but thats not the worst of it. I think the atm was rigged, it kicked me in the nuts, stole my wallet and ran away, I tried chasing after him but I tripped over on all the excess green yellow algae, in my haze laying on the ground some homeless guy stole my phone and keys, I was lucky to get out alive... Ok well that may not of happened but the river did smell bad, great...
