One of the best decisions SACA (South Australian Cricket Association) agreed to and the past SA government made was approving an upgrade of Adelaide Oval. Moving AFL matches from West Lakes to the CBD was a brilliant move. Not only does it revitalise the city during the cricket and football seasons, but it attracts interstate fans to make the trip to Adelaide to support their team. Thankfully, the beautiful old scoreboard remains, as does the 'Hill'. It is a brilliant venue that plays host not just to sporting events, but music concerts too. Just perfect for both. The tour of the Oval is great as well with so much wonderful history explored. Highly recommend not just for visitors, but for the locals too. 5...
